French Kiss life, ooh la la

It's time to
French Kiss Life again.
I belong to the Frenchkisslifeclub.
Each week we are given a practice.
It's just a starting point and I often find that I have read something or seen something in my day that will inspire my heart to continue this practice on my own.
Today is just that day.
I have been clearing out my closets and getting my clothes organized.
Like many people who shop for clothes I have lots of hangers that are plastic, slippery, and odd.
Just yesterday, I went out and bought myself what I call luxury hangers.
They are soft, sturdy, and all match.
I even got my signature color, purple.
Next, luxurious thing I did was to invest in lingerie .
For years I have been wearing old Tshirst and flannel jammies .....
Don't get me wrong, I've been doing it for years.
But, I felt it's time to step it up a bit.
I love romance novels and movies.
Have you ever read about the beautiful lingerie the heroine wears.
It go something like this.
" She gracefully entered the room wearing her silky gorgeous gown with stretch lace bodice  and spaghetti straps that crisscross over her slightly tanned back........(fill in the rest yourself)..
But you get the point.
So I'm off to be the star of my own book and buy a few silky romantic lingerie peignoir sets and hang them on my new soft hangers.
ooh  la la
this is how I'm french kissing my life

French Kiss Life with Stationary...

French Kiss Life

This weeks practice is about hand written letters.
Well if you have been following me for any length of time. You know I'm all about writing letters.
I produce all kinds of paper merchandise with my artwork at my on line store,
It was my goal to have a stationary store.
I LOVE PAPER.
The art of writing a handwritten letter has gone by the way of e mails and texts.
Yes, I do them too. But every now and then a real letter is called for.
When should a real letter be sent?
All invitations of celebration and parties,
weddings, new babies, graduations, new addresses, thank you's .
Those are just a few .....
Correspondence is what it's called.
I'm reading a lovely book by Debbie Macomber
"Love Letters"
Love Letters are usually handwritten and found hidden away deep in the lingerie drawer.
If your lucky there might still be a scent of perfume and a smug of lipstick from the sealed kiss.
What a grand gift it would be to find a hand written letter that has been preserved for us over the years.
Most people when looking at the blank page of the note card. Wonder how will I fill this up, where should I begin? ....Well, start at the reason why you are writing. keep going until you are finished, then stop.
This is a nice beginning.....
"Time and Time again I've wanted to write to you, but every time I sat down to start I was interrupted by......But, now I have blocked out time just to talk to you....."

The Ending of a letter is just as important as the Beginning...
Is this a formal letter, and family and friend letter or are you telling someone how you feel by the last word next to your name.....
Sincerely, Affectionately, With love, With Much Love....Your Lover!!!

Maybe it's time to think about Personalized Stationary.
What will I be adding to my desk.
Personalized stationary,
Calling Card,
Business Card,
even Personalized Thank You Cards.

Time to paint, fingers and toes that is

French Kiss Life practice for this week is to have your nails and toes painted.
Why?
Because it shows a little self care and pride.
When people first meet you the for the first time, the second thing they look at after the seeing your beautiful face is your hands.
It will just make you feel good to show your rings and if you use your hands to talk...
well, look how much better that will be.
Have fun with this.
Pick a fun color and try something new. Even if you don't like to wear polish at least have them manicured.

French Kiss Life

FRENCH KISS LIFE!
This week's practice is to cultivate your mind with books that you do not always read, and to share what you're reading now.
This is one of my favorite books." Calling Invisible Women" by Jeanne Ray. I have it on my Kindle .
If you're in your fifties this is a timely book. If you have ever felt like you were invisible read along with Clover when she is shocked to find herself invisible, but is more shocked to find her family doesn't notice she is invisible! You will be interested to find the answer to how she became invisible. It's a funny and delightful book.
