When I paint for exhibits and shows and now merchandise I find that to be on top of the seasons I have to paint almost six months in advance.

So, its a beautiful summer day and I'm painting Fall paintings.

The harvest months will soon be here, Summer days will be shortened to soft breezes and the harvest will come in. 

Autumn comes with warm colors of red, yellow, and orange.

So many things are happening in Elko and Carlin this weekend.
Here is my donation for the Carlin Volunteer Fire Dept.
Carlin Volunteer Fire Departments 8th Annual Spring Fling April 18th
Doors open at 4:30 pm at the Carlin Fire Department 121 Hamilton St.
Dinner will be Dutch oven / Barbeque at 6pm...
Dinner tickets $15.00 a person
Gun/ Half Hog Raffle $5.00 each
Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00

Road Trip.....

 It's that time of year for planes, cars, and cruise ships

I love Road trips...You just can't beat the freedom of being in your own car and driving down the road with the radio blasting.

Some of my favorite trips have been when we just took off without reservations.

I loved the spontaneity of it, but I also love a well planned itinerary.

I've been lost for hours, stuck in a town over night because of car trouble,

and have spontaneously gone off course.

I love it all!!  And of course every time it is an adventure!

But, if you are the kind of person who must know where you are at all times.

Follow a map and not get swayed from it.
