28 Days to a more magnetic life, Day 28 Sacred Service

28 Days to a more Magnetic Life
By
Sandra Anne Taylor

Day 28
Sacred Service
Intention:
"Today I look for all the little ways that I can be of service to others. Even just a smile or kind word can brighten someones life, and bring greater loving energy to my own."

Reflection:
"When you live with reverence and honor for yourself and others, you're free to connect with the world in the most joyous way possible, the capacity of serving. Service is the unencumbered gift of your time, assistance, things, thoughts, money, love, and life.
Here's what I have to say to this, service is something that has to come from your spirit of giving. It has to be given in a genuine spirit. Look inward to your own needs, and gifts you have to offer.
Activities for Sacred Service
2. Extend your service out into the world. Is there something you feel passionate about, perhaps working with children, animals, or the environment? Turn your passion into compassion and bring love where it is needed most. Your caring expression releases a wonderful energy into your own life and into the field of human consciousness.

Affirmations for Sacred Service
I see the value in everyone. I practice caring intention, knowing that we all share the energy of the world.
We have come to the last day. This little book of 28 days took me almost 4 months!!! I just could not do it one day after the next. I have only given you the tiniest part of this book. I have loved going through it. My life's magnetic zone has increased, brought new ideas, new experiences, and a list of things that were not even on my list. It is designed to span a four week action, but I think it has expanded into a life course. If you enjoyed this mini series with me, I say you deserve it to yourself to buy the book and go through it word by word for yourself.
I live by my intentions, I use affirmations, and I purposefully set activities to go forward with my life.
Be Inspired, Be Strong, Be Well

Day 24, Living in the Present

28 Days to a more magnetic life
by
Sandra Anne Taylor
That was then, this is now, The Here and Now
Day 24
Living in the Present

Intention:
"All day today I'm practicing the art of staying fully present. I release the need to relive the past or worry about the future. I engage my true, creative power in the here and now.
The here and now. Well nothing gets me more into the here and now then planning my day. I am a creature of habit. I start my day with meditation binaural beats, ice, and my tens unit.
Next comes the morning list....you know what I'm talking about.
This week we are getting Kerry ready for his birding trip. So supplies must be gotten, lined up, packed......These are my strengths .
Reflection:
"This moment is your window of opportunity. If you spend a lot of time brooding about the past or the future, you lose a valuable opportunity to shift into a power consciousness right now, perhaps an opportunity to relax, have fun, trust, enjoy, or just be at peace. Your indifference to the present tells the Universe that you dismiss the value in your own life, and that you can't be happy while you're immersed in your daily routine."

Ok, so here is what I'm thinking about this day. Part of me understands that I must live in the now, but, there is another part of me that is saying, "Do something today to make the future me happy."
I'm happy today because yesterday I went shopping and got fresh fruit and cottage cheese for this mornings breakfast. This makes me happy today because I am eating correctly for my health.
My daily list of things to do, well, oddly that makes me happy too. If I finish all the things on my list, whether they are happy things or not I feel accomplished. That too makes me happy.
I once heard this,
"Sometimes you have to do the things you don't like in order to do the things you like."
I think I got that off the show "The Love Boat", remember that show.
The thing is, you just can't do only things you enjoy, so be present in the things you have to do, because if something does not challenge you just a bit, it will not change you.
So, yes, "immersed in your daily routine." and be thankful for it.
Activities for Being Truly Present
2."Stop dismissing the value of what's going on now, and waiting for the good life to begin sometime later. Before you consider any present moment as insignificant, think of the many options it may possess. Focus on the world around you, shift your consciousness, see the beauty. create value by taking energetic control of the moment yourself,. Be the person you want to become right now!
"Be the person you want to become right now!"
Yes, funny sometimes I forget that people know me as an artist, that is until I start getting requests for donations. I have to remind myself that this too is part of who I want to be in the public eye. My art is so personal that sometimes I'm caught off gaurd that my work is requested. But Yesterday I said I wanted to be an artist, Today I paint, and Tommorow I will be asked to donate and exhibit.
Truly Present.
So here's a little something I have just started to do. I have a kindle and I can watch movies on it. So, lately as an award for doing all those things in my life I don't want to do, I have set some afternoon time down to watch the award winning movies I missed last year.
I watched, "Wolf of Wall Street", LOVED IT.
next I watched "Dallas Buyers Club", LOVED IT MORE, warning this movie will linger and stay with you awhile,
Yesterdays movie, "The Book Thief", bring tissues.
The point is I wanted to see these when they were playing in the theater, but they either didn't make it to my little town or I got busy. A Missed Opportunity for living in the present. So, now in my here and now I am seeing them.
Affirmations for staying Fully Present
The energy of now creates the momentum of my future life. I let go of fear and doubt and choose to be happy now!
I got this one, I'm here and now, and also, my future because I plan on living to be 600 years old!
Be Inspired,
~jean

Day 20, 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 20
28 days to a more magnetic life
by
Sandra Anne Taylor

living in spirit
2014 Transformation of all kinds are happening

 Intention
"Today I consciously connect with the unlimited power and value of my eternal spirit. I receive guidance, and I listen to may own intuitive voice more and more. "
Here we go....day 20 and all things have let loose!!! First, intuition is magnetic. I think of things and before too long what I have thought come true. This has happened time and time again. Thoughts become things. For the last five years I have been reading and listening to Mike Dooley. If you don't know who he is , I suggest you look him up.
I have always wanted to go on a meditation retreat. Some thirty years ago my brother in-law introduced me to Transcendental Meditation. I have been practising ever since.
Well, just last week I found out about Wanderlust Festivals, yoga and meditation retreat. So, I have signed up for four days. SWEET!!! Love how the Universe works. Moving mountains, people and making a festival for me.....
Reflection
Sunflower 1 , look up to the sun
"Whether you want to prioritize it or not, your spiritual identity is the greatest source of energetic power in your life. It's your core connection to the love and amazing assistance of the Divine, the well-spring from which all abundance flows. Through this vortex of unlimited energy, you can access all of the wisdom, information, and power that you will ever need."
Yes to all of that. There is something that is called the innate intelligence. It is connected through your brain to your spinal cord. For me right now the brain is the most powerful healer I have going. Working on the physical body for the last 2 years with intense chiropractor manipulations I have moved my one disc back into positions just a little more. While it is not completely there yet, it moved, and I was told it never would. I have started to use binearal beats for everything from nerve repair, sinus infections to being more creative. It has been just one more tool I use to heal myself.
Positive energy is all around us, my intentions are to be open to everything. Learn from everyone, participate fully, encourage and inspire.
Activities for Living in Spirit
this is the one that I connected to
2. Ask for help from the spirit world. When you need guidance, inspiration, or information, take a moment to connect with spirit and ask your question. Notice when and how you get your answers. Keep a notebook and jot down the impressions you get even your dreams may have the answers you seek.
My big guides for help are Arch Angel Raphael and Arch Angel Micheal. Believe me they can handle anything you got.
Affirmations for Living in Spirit

More and more, I am listening to my intuitive voice. Inspiration comes to me in many ways and at unexpected times, bringing all the knowledge, guidance, and information I may need.
So what's cooking for today.
1. cleaning the house, getting ready for my first, Paint n Party party on Saturday.
2. Since I missed yoga this morning, swimming will have to do this afternoon.
3. Prepare new canvas for art workshop tonight.
Be Inspired,
~jean

Day 18, 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 18

29 days to a more magnetic life
choice and consequence
Valenties Cross, acrylic, Jean Hart Artwork
Intention
"Today I'm becoming acutely aware of the many choices I face. I consider the consequences of every option and pick the one that's best for my energy and my life."
OK , my life has exploded in the last two weeks. Magnetic!!!! Doors are flying open, opportunities are everywhere. Just last week in three days my daughter and I almost opened a art studio, painting party, private lessens...comedy business!!!!!!
Knowing when to say no has not been something I do. It just keep getting bigger and bigger and bigger with each conversation. Luckily, I live with someone with a strong backbone and a son who's got his feet firmly planted in the ground.
Choices and consequences of that could have been grand, or the worst financial disaster ever.
Reflection
"Whether you realize it or not, you make thousands of choices each day. In fact, if you look closely at your life, you'll realize that you face an energetic choice in every moment. This is true for every type of decision. .....These are really your defining moments. "
The consequences of the choice we were about to make about opening up a art studio was that it was me and my time all day and night, hers 7 days a week.  We are excitable!!! Considering both the real and the energetic time we could spend only came up hours before signing all the paper work.
Do not overlook the energy of enthusiasm!!!!
It was fun talking, planning and coming up with ideas. But, in truth my energy level is not that strong. I'm still in P/T, adding exercise to my daily life, dieting to get my weight down.
Keep my own art business alive and fresh.
Activities for making wise choices
2. Remember your energetic consequences. Choose ongoing thoughts, actions, and beliefs that promote the kind of energy you want to project. Always bring your consciousness to your cognitive decisions and your life resonance."
There it is" Always bring your consciousness to your cognitive decisions and your life resonance."
Earlier in the year I ask to be given more art work, I said Universe if you bring it to me I will say yes. Boy did she bring me work. I have commissions, restorations, new opportunities, etc. I'm doing things I'm not to sure of how, but I'm researching, and learning and asking experts to help me. It's been amazing. It's okay that this art studio didn't work out, because I have an art studio I work from each day. So much love came to me from this event, so much faith that we could do it. I know more opportunities will come. This was a lesson for us to go just a little slower and not be run by emotions.
Affirmations for making powerful choices
I make healthy choices when it comes to eating, drinking, movement, and sleep. I honor my body and my mind. I decide with awareness, not unconsidered reaction.
I am so thrilled with this little book. It seems that it is spot on with what is going on with me. Sometimes it's almost a day late. Maybe if I were doing it day to day...but my days are filled with doing and practising what I'm reading. Only 9 days left and I can't even imagine what will come my way!!!
What's on my list today:
1. Finish a restoration commission
2. I have a new Love Letter recipient to write to
3. Prepare for art workshop tonight
Be Inspired,
~jean

Day 17, Personal Purpose

Day 17
28 Days to a more magnetic life
by
Sandra Anne Taylor

Personal Purpose
Jean Hart Artwork
 Intention
"Today I'm choosing to live on purpose. I align my decisions and activities with my own personal, professional, and spiritual priorities. I honor my path and my own propose."

Another perfect reading for today. Being on purpose is what I have been doing with my healthy eating for a month.  I told you that I have to lose 100lbs. and when I went to weigh in for my surgery two weeks ago I was so disappointed that I had only lost 3 lbs. But when I had to come back to get my stitches out the scale moved down 9 lbs from when I began. Good new, the lab report came back and no problems. Still have to wait a week before I can go swimming or do yoga.
Reflection
"Having a specific purpose in your life helps you stay focused and puts you on a more direct path toward your goals. This isn't just about your professional aims. You also have a personal purpose, including things such as your family and hobbies."
My purpose of course has changed many times. Like many people I went to school to study one thing and have ended up doing another. Well, I am on another track. My artwork has been something that has helped to heal me from another injury.  I am always so surprised when I get emails from people who have connected with my artwork and tell me about their own stories. I love it. I love that I have connected with so many people through my artwork, my quotes, or this blog. My artwork has become a strong purpose in my life and I plan to show and help more people with it. I will soon be giving art classes, private classes, donations, and exhibits.
I have grown to understand that my purpose in life is to
,help keep the art alive.
Activities for Living on Purpose
2. As you go through your day, consider how you can tie your different purposes together. Perhaps there are ways that you can bring a more spiritual energy to your professional or personal life. At the very least, you can make it part of your purpose to more loving and compassionate to yourself and others. In doing so, you"ll stimulate the highest energies of Universal love to assist you in every area of your life.
I have brought meditation back into my life, along with the quite time I get in the morning I have added binaral beats to my healing.
Being thankful, gracious, and grateful each day, and loving everyone in my life,  I feel this has helped me to understand my purpose in life. It's love.
Affirmations for a Powerful Purpose
"A happy and hopeful life is my purpose, now and always."
What's on my list for today?
1. Super Bowl
2. Staying solid with my food and exercise chooses
3. Keeping my creativity up and making plans for the new direction my artwork is going.

Day 16, 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 16
28 Days to a more magnetic life
by
Sandra Anne Taylor
Soul Song, acrylic, Jean Hart

The Honoring Path
 Intention
"Today I am focusing on the energy of honoring in my life. I look at my choices, behaviors, and thoughts, asking: Does this honor me? No matter what, I muster up the courage to choose the truly honoring action and thought."
Honoring your path. I was given a new path right in the middle of what I thought was an awesome life. A great family, loving husband, and a job I liked.
But in one moment in time, it all changed. My path I honor now is not the  path I was seeking, or studying, or even envisioned for myself. IT'S BETTER!!!
Looking at my chooses and what I have had to do, I have been asked,
 would I have changed anything?
Heck Yes!!
But those choices are behind me. Many of them were made when I was highly emotional, or stuck and asking for help. Which never came. I say help never came to me because,
first, I didn't know how to ask for help,
secondly, I didn't listen when someone offered helped,
and thirdly, I put too much faith in people I didn't really know.
Reflection
"In the quest to change your destiny, the single most powerful thing you can do is to ask yourself: Does this honor me? When you start to make this question a focused part of your daily life, you'll begin to see major differences in how you fell and what you attract."
Does this honor me? Hard question if you don't know who you are in terms of, opinions, desires, wishes, hopes, dreams. To find out how to honor myself I have had to start making decisions for myself. I was devastated by my injury, truly lost and dependant on others. You lose yourself quickly when you depend on other people. I didn't trust my own instincts.  I started with small decisions, what to cook, foods I liked and what I made but didn't like, but the family did. Picking out my own clothes and colors. Stop saying yes when I meant no. Smiling and laughing at myself. I have made some hard chooses cutting out people who were not good for me. Changing many things I didn't like about myself. This has not happened just in these 16 days no, it's been going on for 10 years since my injury. Start small, so when the truly big decisions come you can stand grounded in your chooses.
Activities that Honor
2. "Try to do at least one good thing for yourself each day. Choose something purposeful, enjoyable, fulfilling, or just relaxing. create balance in your life, take care of yourself, and make your own goals and happiness a priority. remember that if you don't make yourself a priority, the Universe will have to follow suit."
Did you catch that last sentence? " If you don't make yourself a priority, the Universe will have to follow suit." BONK!!
I didn't ask for bad back, knees, neck, hips, but it sure slowed me down and gave me time to see how much I gave up of myself to please others.
Affirmations for Honoring Energy
"I live with integrity and dignity. Every day, I choose to honor myself in my thoughts, words, and behaviors."
For me this affirmation will be an on going one.
Today's assignment has been the hardest one yet. I can really only give you a small part of this little book. I really hope you go out and buy it for yourself. I started this book before Christmas thinking I would have it done before the new year. It has not been so easy, it's much more intense and many times I have to sit with the words and reflections for a day or two.
What's on my list today:
1. I have a few pictures of my childhood, not many. Some of the pictures are of me I don't recognize. I plan on putting these on a board and seeing what I can remember about this little girl.
Why have I allowed myself not to trust myself?
2. Superbowl, it's almost here. I plan on making a menu that not only everyone will enjoy but the good healthy foods that I must eat to honor my body.
3. Creating a new website for a new business I want to do for Jean Hart Artwork.
You see being an artist was not in my plans, it was in the Universes plans for me.

Day 15, 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 15
28 days to a more magnetic life
by
Sandra Anne Taylor

Playfulness:
This should be fun. I'm in need of some playfulness, fun, and laughter.
I just had a lump removed from my back.
Surgery went well. 10 stitches 4.4cm tumour removed. No swimming or yoga for a week.
So, yes lets have some fun.

Intention
"Throughout this day, I intend to practice the art of playfulness. I bring a more spontaneous and fun-loving attitude to all my activities. I know that my life can be a lot more entertaining if I intend it to be so.
I like playing backgammon. I have signed up with two different sites to play real people. I was playing against the computer for awhile, but I was not winning! No fun.
I have this idea, what would happen if I brought my backgammon board to the coffee house.
Would a strange engage in a game of backgammon?
Activities for inspiring playfulness
3. Let yourself laugh and smile more. This releases endorphins and increases serotonin levels, creating a greater sense of well-being. So make faces at yourself in the mirror, play games, look for the humor, and allow yourself to laugh."
Okay, well I have this one covered. First, because I love to laugh, tell jokes, hear jokes, and really have fun. This week because of my stitches, I'm a little bit more home bound, no yoga, no swimming, so I'm hoping to paint more in the studio. But, in between I'm planning on watching YOUTUBE COMEDY SHOWS.  Stand up comics get me laughing. I was going to put some of my favorites up here, but it's really more fun for you to browse through and find what makes you laugh.
Affirmations for stimulating playfulness
"I am letting go of the assumption that my life is a burden. Every day is a new adventure for me to enjoy."
YES! Just the other day I took a ride out to the SnoBowl. This is a down hill ski area we have near where I live. I have lived here for 28 years and have never seen it. The weather is so dry this year, we have hardly had any snow. I took a ride to check it out.  I was told they have chair lifts and thought maybe I could take a ride on one if nothing else. But, no! It was closed and no one was around.  It was a great adventure for the day.
So sad to see without snow.
OK, here you go, smile more, laugh more, and find new ways to see humor in your life.

Day 14, 28 Day to a more magnetic life

Day 14

Sandra Anne Taylor
Falling In Love, acrylic, 36" x 36" Jean Hart Artwork

The Power of Love
Love is all around me. It's in my home, it's family, my pets, and in my adventures.
January is my birthday month so it's even in my mail box, emails, and texts.
Do not underestimate the power of compassion.
Intention
"Today I intend to approach the people and situations in my life with an attitude of heart. I see the world through caring eyes and stimulate the power of this emotion throughout my life."
Cupids Arrow, Jean Hart Artwork
I signed up with a website to send More Love Letters out into the world.

I love this idea. I left home at a very young age and never returned to live under my families roof again. When I left, there was no Internet, email, social network, or cell phone. When we called each other we were very aware of the long distant minutes. So, each day I went to the mail box with great anticipation of letters from family and friends.
I have gotten away from sending a hand written note, so joining this website has helped me to get back into the practise of letter writing. I enjoy writing these letters very much.
Reflection:
"Love is the most powerful force in the Universe. Sending a caring intention to any difficulty situation or problematic person can often create more dramatic and immediate results than any other approach. Love is always in motion, so consciously focusing its energies will bring healing, harmony, and successful results to your life. and to the lives, of others. Let yourself remember this option whenever a sticky situation comes up."
My challenge for you today is to write a letter, and if you have no one to send a letter to, write yourself a love letter.  Make it a sweet event. Go shop for the perfect card, the best pen, a unique stamp. Really put some care into this. I also use melted wax on the evevelope to seal it. I promise you the return back to you is so much more then you will ever expect.
Loving Affirmations
"I send my love to all I see. Many times a day, I think, feel, and say the work love with heartfelt intention."

Day 13, 28 Day to a more magnetic life

Day 13
28 Days to a more magnetic life,
By
Sandra Anne Taylor

Peaceful Relaxation
Well, I can tell you right now that today is not peaceful but it will be relaxing later today.
Why, because my kitty, Jax, is sick. He has crystals in his bladder.  I must feed him special food and give him medication. I also drip water into he's mouth with a dropper because he is dehydrated.
I'm somewhat exhausted, not sure what that's all about. Bone tired really, could be the exercise or diet, or both.
But yes the relaxation part of the day will come around four when I go to yoga.

INTENTION
"Today I'm bringing a peaceful approach to all that I do. Instead of hurrying and worrying, I remain calm, relaxed, and unruffled. I choose peace in my body and my mind."
Really, truly, this is what I needed for today. Aside from a few trips around town this should be a peaceful day at home.
Refection
"In this hectic and chaotic world, a peaceful vibration is very appealing. Since it calms your energy, a daily approach of peaceful relaxation is a dynamic part of your magnetic life force. On the other hand, living in stress, running around, and fretting about every little thing will destroy your peace and project an agitated and upsetting vibration. "
Peaceful vibration. I like that. This week is my Birthday. I wanted to get my nails done since we are all dressing up for a fine dining dinner and a martini bar late night. But I'm a little short on cash. Guess what came in the mail yesterday? It was a refund check from the hospital. I overpaid them and they sent my money back to me!!! Just In Time for me to have my nails done.
Is that what they call Law of Attraction?
Trust that what you need will come to you when you need it?
Peaceful Activities
2. Let go of your inner conflict and the need for control. Whatever may be going on, when you choose trust instead of fear, you'll experience a profound sense of peace as you approach every issue."
I have to say, that I am slowing down. I love my 30 day challenge to change your life. I has put order into my life. I do like to check things off my list.
I have started to put my appt. in my phone. I didn't think I would like that so much, but it has really saved me from overbooking a day.
Jax, my kitty now has appts. of his own to keep.
Affirmations for a Peaceful Life
"As I go through my day, I am beginning to notice more opportunities to release tension and just relax."
Okay, so let me share something that I have just started to do. I try to swim each day, but of course that doesn't happen. So, now it's swim one day do yoga the next day....
But what I have found is that I can get audio books on my phone. I wear a bathing cap, (really, not going for looks and beauty here), and plug in the earphones and while I tread water I'm listening to a book. COOL!!. Someone once told me if I could just tread water for and hour or so that would help me lose weight. I get a little bored so this idea has been so useful.
I also listen to Pandora music, too.
Be Inspired,
~jean

Day 11 29 days to a more magnetic life

HAPPY NEW YEAR
2014
 DAY 11
28 DAYS TO A MORE MAGNETIC LIFE
by Sandra Anne Taylor

 Good bye 2013 hello 2014
It's gonna be a good year.
So, here we go, I'm still working on 28 days, but, it's taken me longer than 28 days. It's okay, the holidays kept me busy and now I'm ready to go.

Self Acceptance
Intention
"Today I release every single thought of self-judgment or criticism. I free myself from any old, external conditions of self approval. I am valuable and worthy just as I am."

Wonderful, what a great day to start the New Year.
Self acceptance.
Last week, I had one of the best Dr. appt. I've had in years. With my blood work done, I went to see how I was doing. To my surprise, my B/P was near normal, my cholesterol excellent, thyroid perfect, AC1 normal, diabetes's not even on the table anymore.
When I had the heart failure, I was told it would take 2 years for my body to stabilize and correct itself. Well, Dr. Fox, you were spot on!!!

Refection
"You must intervene when you spot thoughts or behaviors that resemble self-judgment or self criticism. On top of making you incredibly unhappy, the refusal to approve of yourself is disastrous to your magnetic attraction."

There is one more thing I need to do, lose 100 lbs. Now I do not think the world needs one more blog about weight loss. So I will not be blogging about my weight loss journey.
Or, atleast not as a main topic.
Self acceptance. It's huge, I'm learning to see life more as problem/solutions instead of problems/challenges.
Activities for Self Acceptance
2. Let go of perfectionism and learn to forgive yourself, both for your mistakes and for your perceived shortcomings. Focus on changing all of your self critical thoughts.
Yes, I like that. Change your thoughts, change your life.
I hear it all the time. You are what you think you are.
I will be working on this one.
Affirmations for self acceptance.
"I am proud of myself and my achievements. I acknowledge the effort I make in my life. "
I've been moving into the new year just like everyone else. I listed all the highlighted things that happened to me in 2013. I looked at that list and I tell you, I truly am blessed.
Not everything that happened was good news, in fact, there seems not to be any good news from a conversation that starts with, "Guess what happened to me today!"
But, pushing on and being a part of my day has brought me a full life.
What's on my list for today:
1. I bought a big grease board, life changes I want to make in 30 days. I plan on writing them on the board and marking them off. I have 3 things I want to change in the next 30 days.
A. cut back to only 2 cups of coffee each day.
B. I am giving up wine for 30 days.
C. only one hour a day on the computer.
2. Self acceptance doesn't mean not tiring hard to maintain healthier habits. So, I'm working on eating, exercising, and working in balance with my day.
3. Making a plan for this years vacation budget. I have lots of places I want to go, but only have limited time and money to do it all wuth. Choices must be made.

Start the year right with a big, fat wallet. Get 27 crisp, new dollar bills from the bank and put them inside. This will set the trend for a prosperous New Year. Spice things up by sprinkling ground ginger on the outside and inside of your billfold. Ginger is a stimulant, and will attract new sources of income to you.

SELF LOVE
Intention
"Today I'm choosing to see myself in a new and loving way. I pause many times throughout the day and send kind and valuing thoughts in my own direction."
Here we go, self love, it's a tough one. It's so hard for me to comment on high regards for myself.
Here's what I know and have learned about this one.
I am a child of God, and therefore, I belong here,  I deserve to be valued, loved, encouraged and considered.
Take a piece of paper and write, 3 things you like about you, 3 things you don't like about you, and 3 things you can change abut yourself.
There's you list for 2014.
Here's mine.
Things I like about me
1. I like my curiosity
2. I like my enthusiasm
3. I like my willingness to risk
Things I don't like
1. My need for approval
2. My second guessing myself
3. My lack of confidence
Things I can Change
1. Testing my ideas
2. Doing things even if they scare me
3. Finding where I belong

Affirmations for Self-Love
"I truly believe in my ability to accomplish my desires. I know that I have all that I need to magnetize everything I dream of."
I'm still writing these affirmations out in long hand. I have been practising my calligraphy.
I asked myself why am I working so hard on this? What place does calligraphy have in my life?
Well, the Universe showed me a way to use my calligraphy to send my love and encouragement out to others.
I joined a website called,
This site sends love letters to people in need of encouragement, love, and understanding.
I have now started to write love letters in calligraphy.
The Universe really does work in wondrous ways.
What's on my list for today
1. Find 3 mail art exhibits for 2014
2. Continue on my Peacock Mandala painting
3. Set up 10 new websites for my artwork
Wild Hearts, acrylic

Day 8 , 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 8
28 days to a more magnetic life
Sandra Anne Taylor

Taking Action
Intention:
"Today I take some action toward the achievement of my goals. My action energizes my intention and tells the Universe that I'm serious about making my dreams come true."
OOOOOh today already has been tough and it's only 8:00. I've been up, meditated, eat breakfast and then immediately went back to bed. No, I'm not sick. A little bit of non-motivation has come to visit me.  It's the down after the up of a Art Reception. While the night was fun and well attended by a small group of artists. It was nice to talk to many people I have not seen for awhile, it was not the night I had thought it would be. In truth, it was a great night and I build these things up to be more than they are. So, just feeling a little down.
More action, more achievement towards my goals..... I'm feeling just a little lost today.
I will read on. Maybe just getting myself up and active will kick myself in gear.

Reflection
"Action is the accelerate that will ignite your desires. If your goal is important to you, then moving forward must be an ongoing, daily priority. It's the combination of intention and action that stimulates Universal response."
Wow, there it is. "ongoing, daily priority." So there is no day off? I'm just asking. I usually tell young artists that it is the persistence that will make you good. The keep going, make a plan, stick to it. I have small plans now. It is the end of the year. By Dec. I have executed my ideas for the year and I'm winding down. My ideas list has been crossed off. But I do have one more thing that I will do today to end the year.
Activities for taking action
She lists 3 activities for today, I will be doing number 3.
"3. Remember your energetic action: positive and valuing thoughts for the mind, movement and rest for the body, meditation for the spirit, and love and compassion for the heart. All of these are important actions that will lead you forward on your path."
Yes, this one seems the kindness for me today.
Matthew and I are setting out to help Santa bring gifts to a little girl and boy who's family is in need of a little help this year. We want to make sure that these Children will know the magic of Christmas.
Ho,ho, ho! Merry Christmas to you and to all a good day.
I have joined the pool and maybe I will swim later today.
Action Affirmations
"I am dedicated to the success of my daily life. I continue to take action to make my thoughts more positive, my emotions more joyous, and my intentions more conscious and clear."
This is where my daily to do list comes in. It never fails me. If I put it on the list, I get it done. I have over the years created a discipline for myself that way.
I also find that if I put the timer to 15min and say, "for 15min I will do this or that" it is enough time for me to get myself moving.
So what's on my list for today.
1. Delivering my new Christmas Cards to the museum gift store. (a forward activity towards my goal as an artist.)
2. Shopping for Christmas presents for a little girl and boy. (compassion for my heart)
3. Swimming, ( I have already rested, meditated for my body.)
One word about meditating, only do it once a day for 10 15min. after that it just becomes daydreaming.

Day 7 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 7
28 days to a more magnetic life
Sandra Anne Taylor

Day 7
Affirming your life.

Intention:
"All throughout this day, I live in affirmation!I take every opportunity to affirm myself, my resources, my power, and my joy. I positively acknowledge my life in every way."

OK, well lets start this day off. As you can plainly see, I have many days in between each day. For me, each of these assignments have to settle in. I have to find ways to incorperate them into my life. Sometimes, even writing my affirmations has to be scheduled. But, that's what works for me.
Affirming my life. I've been busy doing just that.
I listened to a tape of  Dr. Wayne Dyer, 101 ways to Transform our life. (maybe in the future I will be sharing each of those too.) But, for now there was one change he mentioned that just stayed with me and would not leave.
He said,  try and be part of the Global Change. Think in terms of Global help.
So, this week I joined UNICEF.
I am planning on hosting a fundraiser with a  vending table to sell my art note cards and give the proceeds to UNICEF to help children around the world.
On a more local level, I pulled a little girl and boy to give Christmas gifts this year.
My Intentions are this.
1. I am abundant, I have enough to keep myself healthy and happy. So, I will share my resources.
2. What do I have to offer? My artwork. I donate and will sell artwork to help raise money for organizations I believe in.
3. I will committee my time and effort to become knowledgeable on how to do this in a more effective way.

Reflection:
"Strong magnetic energies require a life force filled with a positive attitude, which can be greatly assisted by the ongoing process of affirmation.

My Reflections:
No French pastry or Belgium chocolate tastes as good as giving.

Affirmative Activities,
"Do mirror affirmations every day:  direct loving and encouraging thoughts to yourself while looking at your own image. If you say these out loud, your voice will amplify and double their energy in your life. Never pass a mirror without saying something positive to or about yourslf1"

When I was really feeling bad about myself, my life, my health, I actually posted yellow post-it's on my mirror and around my computer. I said them out load, to myself, and sometimes it worked and sometimes I said them with sarcasm. I also set my phone alarm to remind me to say a Thank You prayer. I had many bad negativity self talk habits to release.
Today's Affirming the Positive:
"I am beginning to make more and more positive interpretations about the experiences of my day. This upbeat mind set brings renewed optimism to every experience."
So what's on my list today..
1. The post-it's  will come back. I'm taking on a new physical exercise program and I will need to hear myself tell myself I can do it.
2. Setting up a Internet shop where I can start selling my art auction's for the fund raising I went to do.
3. I plan on enjoying my Art Reception tonight. Because even though being around people makes me nervous, showing my appreciation to those who took their time to meet me and see my artwork is a good thing.

Day 6 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 6
28 days to a more magnetic life
Sandra Anne Taylor

Setting your emotional intention
Intention:
"This morning and throughout the day, I intend to consciously create the emotional energy I want to expand in my life. Whether it's love, compassion, happiness, acceptance, surrender or any other feeling I desire. "
Emotions, are so personal, so I will not be going into what I'm going through here. Each day I range from high to low.
Are you feeling more magnetic?
I don't know if it's the season or if more things are just coming my way. But, I'm busy!!!!
We did not put up the big Christmas tree this year, but instead we did two smaller trees. Why did we think that would be easier???? So I have been  shopping for smaller ornaments and designed a theme for these two new trees. This did not save us time or money... I also added a new train and village this year to the house decorations. Every window has lights and we even did the outside with a snowmen and dog.
So, wow. My house has been transformed to a winter wonderland.
Be the change you want to see.
I know you have heard that saying. I have been busy creating the house for the season.
I wanted to feel the love and compassion for Christmas. So, I have music playing, made lunch dates with old friends and a few new people I don't know well. Decorated the house, I will be sending out cards this year, and baking. We as a family have also decided to give gifts.
Now, your saying, Everyone does that. But no, I haven't done many of those things for over 5 years. Some kind of sadness crept over me and covered me for years. I barley got the tree up most years.
I have now woken up!!!
One day not too long ago, I said to myself. This isn't my life. What happened?
What do I want my life to look like?
I made a list. You know I love my lists, so I made one of the way I wanted life to be.
Each day before getting out of bed I think about what this day will be like.
Finding my bliss was hard at first, but I  just kept saying the words and the meanings of those words to myself over and over again until they become part of my thinking.

Activities for setting your emotional intention.
"As you go through the day, name your desired emotion, choose thoughts and behaviors that increase that energy in you life.

One year on my birthday, my son gave me a set of healing cards. I would like to share one with you today.
"Without hope, we live in desire. Ask yourself, what are my desires? Then ask, what are my genuine needs? Discover how casually you desire things that have no real value for you. Then you'll realize how easily you lose your power."

Affirmations for emotional intention
"I intend to enjoy my present experiences, I feel a sense of fulfillment and purpose in my everyday life."
What's on my list for today.
1. I plan on lighting a candle and giving thanks for my beautiful home.
2. I will finish decorating the dinning room.
3. I'm excited to get to watch the seahawks play and have a list of people to text and share the game with.
4. This year I plan on sending Christmas Cards out to family and friends. Because a life without people is much too sad.
5. I will engage in the emotions that serve me well. Be positive and open to receive the desires that I  truly want and need in my life.

Day 5, 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 5
28 days to a more magnetic life,
by
Sandra Anne Taylor

Jean on the move
Movement

I like that, movement. With Thanksgiving behind me. The best thing is that the house is clean and ready for the Christmas boxes to come down.
If you have been with me for any time here, you know I've been working hard at getting back to the physical activities that I use to do.
I have this very slow leisurely pace about myself. In fact, when people move, or talk to quickly at me, I tend to shut down. They make me nervous and anxious.
I'm one of these people who, breathe deeply, make a list, stretch, have a cup of coffee, and then peacefully go about the business of the day.
Of course, I wasn't always like that. No, in my 30's while raising kids, I went to college, had a full-time job, took care of the house, the husband and signed up for every volunteer organization that asked for help. Often I was up till midnight doing the Landry.
Happy to say, Those days are over!!
Lets begin.
Intentions for the day.
"How you move, and how much you move creates your mechanical resonance, which is a significant source of personal energy. If you don't get enough movement, the power from past experiences is likely to stay stuck in both your body and your energy field."
This is good stuff. It's got me thinking about exercise and how I can get it back into my life.
I use to walk 2hours a day. But have not been able to do that for sometime. Getting regular exercise is on my priority list.
With, back, knee and neck issues I have found a website that I think is helpful. Something I can do at home and on my own time schedule.

Affirmations for Ease of Movement
"I walk and move comfortable. I do everything at a leisurely, unhurried pace. I am peaceful and relaxed in all I do."
This is my affirmation Journal, as you can see it's just a notebook. I write, doodle, make notes, and jot down ideas.
Words of Enlightenment
"Exercise is for elevating your spirit, not just your heart rate.'
Dr. Mark W. Cochran
Something to think about.
My to do list is growing longer.
1. Taking down the Christmas Decorations. This will test my patience to day.....
2. I plan on doing those chair exercises.
3. Continue to breathe deeply and meditate while writing out the affirmations.
4. Start the raffle painting for the art reception.

Day 4 to a more magnetic life

28 days to a more magnetic life

Sandra Anne Taylor
Day 4
Going North, acrylic, jean hart

Personal Power
Oh, I tell you this day could not have come at a better place in my life. I am preparing for an art show, I am the Featured Artist at the ECAC.
As it turns out the gallery director has given me full range of publicity. There budget is small and doesn't cover promotions. So, am I to not market this event, or am I to step up and make a few things happen?
It takes courage and confidence to assume the power in your own life. So, today I will be writing up an article for the newspaper, Making postcards to invite everyone to the reception and anything else I can think of.
Sandra says, "If you let others control key issues, you allow them to direct your energy and destiny, too."
 Intentions for today.
"Today I intend to live in my true power, to make choices and take action on my own behalf. I have the right to possess the real power in my life."
Well said. So it's time to become more self- actualized. This does not mean arrogant or demanding, just more focused and sure abut the direction I want to go in.
Activities for Enhancing person power.
1. Choose to empower yourself now. Live with integrity, strength, and discipline as you go about the many decisions of your day. From choosing what you prioritize to how you interact with others, allow yourself to be mighty!"
Well, okay, it will start today. There are a lot of strong, powerful words there. I think I will have to read that several times today.
Personal Power Affirmations
"As I live in my personal power, I become more and more conscious of my own needs. I am more self-directed  each day."

My list today looks like this:
1. prioritize my to do list for this up coming event.
2. write a article for the newspaper.
3. paint a new Raffle painting for the show.
4. Because I'm a little old school, I will read, write and recite the affirmation. It's really a strong one.
Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, I may just sit with this one for a day or so. Personal Power, it's a big one and I don't want to blow through it too fast.
So I will leave you with these words from Mike Dooley,
"Talk a little, sing a lot,
walk a little, dance a lot,
smile a little, laugh a lot,
dream a little, live a lot."

~jean
