What My Soul Wants Me To Know ~ Energy

What My Soul Wants Me To Know

Being the change I want see
Soul Coaching
cards by
Denise Linn

Today's Card
Energy
"Healing energy and immense vitality flow through me easily and effortlessly."
Okay, let's talk about energy. I have great news about the immense healing energy I am now receiving. I went to my Chiropactor appointment Friday and to his surprise my hips and spine were laying almost perfectly. I am so improved that he suggested that I should now come for adjustments and P/T every other week. This is down from twice a day when I first started.
I just came back from a weeks vacations where I walk several miles, hiked, went up and down stairs, did not use ice, my TEN Unit, or even took Advil.!!!!
This is never done by me. This vacation showed me in every little step that my body is getting stronger. I contribute this not only to my chiropactor but to my daily routine of meditating, walking, and yoga.
Card meaning:
Vitality, health, healing, and passion, these qualities are expanding in your life! You're a healer and a channel for the life force of the universe.
Your ability to sense energy fields is increasing dramatically.
Here's what I know about vitality, if you don't have it, you don't have passion. Without a passion the quality of life and living are gone. My life has expanded ten folds since I started exercising. I started well over a year ago with a personnel trainer at a gym. My daughter forced me to do this with her. With every step I whined, and cried, because it hurt. Looking back I can see I had the wrong attitude. She didn't care, she made me do it anyways. Did it get easier? NO, never.
Was I glad I did it? You bet. I could see the results when we started to walk around NASCAR that year. I think my daughter is a healer and channeler of life. With her I have become more active.
Your Soul wants you to know:
When you hold back and repress what you feel, your body and spirit become drained; when you try to please everyone and deny yourself, your life force wanes. If you strive to meet everyone's expectations but forget to honor your own needs, your energy field becomes dull. Allowing your emotions and needs the freedom to be spontaneously expressed, however, causes waves of energy to expand inside of you. Running on your own resources, it's easy to become drained, however, letting the divine light of the Creator flow through you easily replenishes your Soul.
Isn't that the truth of things. Expectations not only everyone else's but my own have stopped me from doing more things then you can imagine. There is a certain comfort level about putting limits on myself. I have allowed this injury to keep me on the sidelines for many things, and not just physical activities. Yes, it is time for me to get moving, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and professionally. All of which I have let go of over the last two years.
Affirmations:
"Healing energy and immense vitality flow through me easily and effortlessly."
What will I do this week with this information.
Get moving for one.
I have been on vacation and instead of coming home all relaxed and ready to go to work. I got a little lazy, dull and unmotivated. I don't know why that is but I haven't jumped right back on my diet, gone into the studio to paint, or even exercised. So I really needed to hear what my Soul had to say.
This weeks list is this.
1. get myself back to yoga, or at least do a youtube tape
2. start a painting, the Elko County Fair is coming in only a few weeks!!
3. weigh myself and get back to it. Suck it up I'm sure I gained weight.
4. plan my next 5K walks
5. make my home maintenance list.....oh there are so many things after 28 years in this house that need fixing and painting.
6. find my Vitality, health, healing, and passion
My movie pick this week is
Lucy
This movie had me on the edge of my sit the whole time. Talk about controlling energy!!! Oh, man, I never want to move so quickly that I supersede time....

Weigh In Day

Weigh In Day
July 9, 2013
The Dreaded Plateau

started Jan, 2014

beginning weight 250lbs

today's 229.4

Total weight lost 20.6

BMI 38.3

cal. intake 1385

need to lose 79lbs

estimate date April 13, 2015

I now go to the doctor every six months for a check up...On the left is the doctors scale and on the right is mine.
For the last month I have been on a plateau. I have been waiving between 230 to 228...up and down. No higher, no lower.
My doctor sat with me and explained how plateau's work. She said it is time for me to up my exercise program. Yoga is nice, she says, but you need to get out there and get your heart pumping. Cardio is good for burning calories, and helping you to get your blood pressure down.
What did I hear her say? Sign up for the Lazyman Triathlon.
So that is exactly what Sarah and I did.
We have now added walking/running 26.2 miles, swimming  2.5 miles, and biking 112 miles,to our yoga routine.
The Lazyman Triathlon is a one month long program to get all the activities in.
I have said this before, it's the swimming that  my body responds to. I'm at a point in my weight loss journey where it's now all about moving, burning calories, and getting my heart beating.

Kerry and I did the Freedom Run on Fourth of July. It is our 3rd 5K this summer.
It was a perfect day to walk around the marina. .
I got new shoes so I wont get Runner's Toes again. Note, they are still purple,  yellow and ugly.
I have since painted them with polish so I don't have to look at them.
We are getting better at our walks. I am no longer the last person to cross the finish line.
This time we even passed two groups of walkers. YEAH!!!
Kerry got 4th place in his age group and I got 12th.
I am going to buy a stop watch for our next 5K so we can keep track of our times. I can not see the screen of my phone when I'm outside.
Fourth of July came was lots of food, good and bad.
Why is it I still think I deserve to eat desserts if I exercise?
Ice Cream, brownies, fudge sauce ....
Plus after the race, I went down for a 5 hour nap!!
Have you ever napped so hard that when you woke up you thought it was the next day?
I'm mentally at a stand still. All this exercising is making me sore, and tired.
My motivation for cooking and eating right has slipped. I have stopped using my "lose it" app. which I can now see how important it is to write everything down....
I can't really afford this kind of behavior. My journey is long and I can see I'm slipping back into bad habits quickly.
So......I think I will have to weigh myself more often, write my food intake in again at each meal, and plan meals. I have the exercise part down but not the "I'm too tired to cook anything healthy".
Everything needs help and attention.
check this out for idea's to help break a plateau.

Yes, of course there's always just going into child pose and staying there until the need to snack passes.

The Third Season of Change, Reclaim Your Power

Third Season of Change
Wisdom Cards
Caroline Myss

"Reclaim Your Power"
 Today's Lesson:
Note one reason why you give away power in your everyday life,
and then ask yourself if that situation is worth losing your peace of mind over."
I give away a little piece of myself every time I paint, and then ask "What Do You Think?"
There is a little bit of me that still thinks,
" I can't believe I get to paint all day and people buy my artwork."
I am very blessed that way.
Artwork is not all of me though.
After I gave up my job, I had to start thinking about my worth in a whole new way.
If I could not bring in an income.
 "What is my worth?"
Awe....goes the story.
My worth can not be measured in money.
The things I do, contribute to, belong too, make, participate in, maintenance and enjoy.
I am reminded of a song India Arie sings.
I am not my Hair

I love her songs. If you need a little confidence boost, go to YouTube and start listening to her songs.
Redefine who you are, rethink who you are, stop the expectations.
My power lays in my heart, my mind, and enthusiasm for life.
Your Goal: to reclaim your power in a positive and mindful way."
I will leave you today to think about this one. It is a serious topic for me.
Since I like lists, I have given myself a challenge to come up with four things.
reclaiming my power for me will have to be on the level of
1. physical
2. mental
3.spiritual
4. financial
I have complied a list of words that I would like to describe myself with, and a promise to start marking down my likes and dislikes. I think there is something powerful in saying, I like this, I don't like that. It's positive, mindful, and firm.
My list is clear. My dedication is strong. My determination is powerful.
Be Grateful for what you have.

What My Soul Wants Me To Know

What My Soul Wants Me To Know

Being the change I want see
Soul Coaching
cards by Denise Linn
Today's card is
Breakthrough
"I soar into limitless love, light, and joy!?
Card meaning: You're at the precipice of a huge, positive breakthrough! Everything that you've been doing for the past few years has been preparing you for this time. An immense self-realization is on its way. Something for which you've waited a long time is about to come to fruition!
More then ever do I believe that my soul knows how to heal itself.
I went in for my six month check up, blood tests and the results.
NORMAL!!!
Everything came up, went down, and all landed in the normal column.
I am no longer "pre-" anything.
So, what do I think of my card today....spot on once again.
I have been pushing myself to become more physical and strong. I started yoga, and swimming. Kerry and I signed up to walk 5K's this summer.
Kerry and I at the Freedom 5K Run, I came in 12 in my age group, Kerry was 4th.

Little did I know that all of this was just a prerequisite for the
"Lazyman Triathlon".
Sarah and I will be adding Run/walking 26.2 miles, swimming 2.5 miles, biking 112 miles,
to our yoga routine for the month of July.
Sarah and I racking up the walking miles on our way to yoga

Your Soul wants you to know: Fruit drops from the tree when it's ripe, flowers open to the day when the sun rises, and a bird's egg cracks open when it's time. Everything that you've been doing has prepared you for the coming breakthrough. Quit standing on the cliff wondering what you should do. Jump off.

Yes, trust in your soul, get past the fear and do it anyway. It helps to have a partner when you are daring to do things you only thought you could daydream about. It doesn't matter that I have to go to the chiropractor each week, that I must sit on ice, heat, and use a TENS unit. It doesn't matter that I wrap and rub and limp along some days.
What matters is I show up. I prepare, I plan, I'm positive.
Oh, don't get me wrong, there are some days that my family believes in my ability more then I do.
Thanksfully,  they wait patiently for me to catch up to their faith in me.
I'm grateful for my family, my instructors and my friends.
" Everything that you've been doing has prepared you for the coming breakthrough. "
Yes, and my preparing has taken me the last 2.5 years!!
Keep moving forward, Keep a smile on your face, there will be set backs, Keep your goals in front of you, and share them.

Change Your Life in 30 Days

Change Your Life In 30 Days
I listened to a TED Talk not too long ago. It was about changing your life in 30 day challenges.
I thought that would be a good challenge with the new year.
So, I made a grease board and put in some of the things I would like to change and some of the things I would like to add to my life.
Now, I was warned that I should only be changing one thing about myself every thrity days.
But, I have so much to do, so much to change, so much to improve on.
I am one of these lets just jump in. A net or the ground will show up.
So above is my chart. It took me awhile to make it the way it will work for me.
It's broke out in weeks, and on the left are the things I will be tracking.
I have seven things to track each day!!!!!
I don't think they are that much to ask for. The TED Talk said after I complete 30days these will be a part of my life and then I can add another 30 day challenge.
So wish me luck. and I challenge you to make your own chart.

Day 11 29 days to a more magnetic life

HAPPY NEW YEAR
2014
 DAY 11
28 DAYS TO A MORE MAGNETIC LIFE
by Sandra Anne Taylor

 Good bye 2013 hello 2014
It's gonna be a good year.
So, here we go, I'm still working on 28 days, but, it's taken me longer than 28 days. It's okay, the holidays kept me busy and now I'm ready to go.

Self Acceptance
Intention
"Today I release every single thought of self-judgment or criticism. I free myself from any old, external conditions of self approval. I am valuable and worthy just as I am."

Wonderful, what a great day to start the New Year.
Self acceptance.
Last week, I had one of the best Dr. appt. I've had in years. With my blood work done, I went to see how I was doing. To my surprise, my B/P was near normal, my cholesterol excellent, thyroid perfect, AC1 normal, diabetes's not even on the table anymore.
When I had the heart failure, I was told it would take 2 years for my body to stabilize and correct itself. Well, Dr. Fox, you were spot on!!!

Refection
"You must intervene when you spot thoughts or behaviors that resemble self-judgment or self criticism. On top of making you incredibly unhappy, the refusal to approve of yourself is disastrous to your magnetic attraction."

There is one more thing I need to do, lose 100 lbs. Now I do not think the world needs one more blog about weight loss. So I will not be blogging about my weight loss journey.
Or, atleast not as a main topic.
Self acceptance. It's huge, I'm learning to see life more as problem/solutions instead of problems/challenges.
Activities for Self Acceptance
2. Let go of perfectionism and learn to forgive yourself, both for your mistakes and for your perceived shortcomings. Focus on changing all of your self critical thoughts.
Yes, I like that. Change your thoughts, change your life.
I hear it all the time. You are what you think you are.
I will be working on this one.
Affirmations for self acceptance.
"I am proud of myself and my achievements. I acknowledge the effort I make in my life. "
I've been moving into the new year just like everyone else. I listed all the highlighted things that happened to me in 2013. I looked at that list and I tell you, I truly am blessed.
Not everything that happened was good news, in fact, there seems not to be any good news from a conversation that starts with, "Guess what happened to me today!"
But, pushing on and being a part of my day has brought me a full life.
What's on my list for today:
1. I bought a big grease board, life changes I want to make in 30 days. I plan on writing them on the board and marking them off. I have 3 things I want to change in the next 30 days.
A. cut back to only 2 cups of coffee each day.
B. I am giving up wine for 30 days.
C. only one hour a day on the computer.
2. Self acceptance doesn't mean not tiring hard to maintain healthier habits. So, I'm working on eating, exercising, and working in balance with my day.
3. Making a plan for this years vacation budget. I have lots of places I want to go, but only have limited time and money to do it all wuth. Choices must be made.

DREAMS DO COME TRUE....

This is an old post from Last January. But, it is the one that Wow Gal Magazine saw. By reading this post and watching the film Matthew made of me, she has asked me to write a inspired story for their magazine.
While you sleep, the Universe is very busy moving mountains for you.

DREAMS DO COME TRUE....
I talk a lot about goals and making a life that you want here.
I truly believe that when you go forth and participate fully in the things you believe in your life than truly becomes the life you want. Part of what I believe is that you must help others to achieve their dreams too. Because if you don't understand the concept "Other peoples success is your success", then how can you ever believe that there is enough abundance in this world for everyone?
Last week I helped my son with his first film production. It was a documentary of my life as an artists. He wrote the script, directed and produced this short film. I think he did a great job, and it is my honor to support his dream of becoming and scriptwriter and producer.
Please enjoy and feel free to share this link and make comments. If you liked what Matthew did please like it on facebook.

day 10 Self Love 28 days to a more magnetic life

HAPPY NEW YEAR
2014
I am so ready for the new year to start. I have many projects in the making and hopefully new ones coming my way.

Jean Hart, I see myself flying a lot in 2014

Here's a little something to get you on your way to a prosperous new year
Feng Shui for the New Year
Fill your wallet

Start the year right with a big, fat wallet. Get 27 crisp, new dollar bills from the bank and put them inside. This will set the trend for a prosperous New Year. Spice things up by sprinkling ground ginger on the outside and inside of your billfold. Ginger is a stimulant, and will attract new sources of income to you.

SELF LOVE
Intention
"Today I'm choosing to see myself in a new and loving way. I pause many times throughout the day and send kind and valuing thoughts in my own direction."
Here we go, self love, it's a tough one. It's so hard for me to comment on high regards for myself.
Here's what I know and have learned about this one.
I am a child of God, and therefore, I belong here,  I deserve to be valued, loved, encouraged and considered.
Take a piece of paper and write, 3 things you like about you, 3 things you don't like about you, and 3 things you can change abut yourself.
There's you list for 2014.
Here's mine.
Things I like about me
1. I like my curiosity
2. I like my enthusiasm
3. I like my willingness to risk
Things I don't like
1. My need for approval
2. My second guessing myself
3. My lack of confidence
Things I can Change
1. Testing my ideas
2. Doing things even if they scare me
3. Finding where I belong

Affirmations for Self-Love
"I truly believe in my ability to accomplish my desires. I know that I have all that I need to magnetize everything I dream of."
I'm still writing these affirmations out in long hand. I have been practising my calligraphy.
I asked myself why am I working so hard on this? What place does calligraphy have in my life?
Well, the Universe showed me a way to use my calligraphy to send my love and encouragement out to others.
I joined a website called,
This site sends love letters to people in need of encouragement, love, and understanding.
I have now started to write love letters in calligraphy.
The Universe really does work in wondrous ways.
What's on my list for today
1. Find 3 mail art exhibits for 2014
2. Continue on my Peacock Mandala painting
3. Set up 10 new websites for my artwork
Wild Hearts, acrylic

Something to think about, something to create

Something to think about.
Question?

Salvador Dali created a famous tree structure in Paris, made from?
A. Bread dough
B. Chocolate
C. Marzipan paste
D. Spoons

Answer:
A. Bread Dough
Boulangerie Poilane has at times accepted art as payment for food, including the carbo-rich tree concocted by Salvador Dali. The bakery, on rue du Cherche Midi, is famous not just for sourdough country bread and apple tarts but for the works of art that adorn its halls and walls.
Oh, I bet the bread tastes better then anything I can get in the grocery store here.
My Challenge to you is :
Make a creative tree out of bread dough like Salvador Dali did, or better yet, make some wonderful art creation of your own.
I would love to see what you come up with.
Here is the Boulangerie Poilane, take a tour,

Day 8 , 28 days to a more magnetic life

Day 8
28 days to a more magnetic life
Sandra Anne Taylor

Taking Action
Intention:
"Today I take some action toward the achievement of my goals. My action energizes my intention and tells the Universe that I'm serious about making my dreams come true."
OOOOOh today already has been tough and it's only 8:00. I've been up, meditated, eat breakfast and then immediately went back to bed. No, I'm not sick. A little bit of non-motivation has come to visit me.  It's the down after the up of a Art Reception. While the night was fun and well attended by a small group of artists. It was nice to talk to many people I have not seen for awhile, it was not the night I had thought it would be. In truth, it was a great night and I build these things up to be more than they are. So, just feeling a little down.
More action, more achievement towards my goals..... I'm feeling just a little lost today.
I will read on. Maybe just getting myself up and active will kick myself in gear.

Reflection
"Action is the accelerate that will ignite your desires. If your goal is important to you, then moving forward must be an ongoing, daily priority. It's the combination of intention and action that stimulates Universal response."
Wow, there it is. "ongoing, daily priority." So there is no day off? I'm just asking. I usually tell young artists that it is the persistence that will make you good. The keep going, make a plan, stick to it. I have small plans now. It is the end of the year. By Dec. I have executed my ideas for the year and I'm winding down. My ideas list has been crossed off. But I do have one more thing that I will do today to end the year.
Activities for taking action
She lists 3 activities for today, I will be doing number 3.
"3. Remember your energetic action: positive and valuing thoughts for the mind, movement and rest for the body, meditation for the spirit, and love and compassion for the heart. All of these are important actions that will lead you forward on your path."
Yes, this one seems the kindness for me today.
Matthew and I are setting out to help Santa bring gifts to a little girl and boy who's family is in need of a little help this year. We want to make sure that these Children will know the magic of Christmas.
Ho,ho, ho! Merry Christmas to you and to all a good day.
I have joined the pool and maybe I will swim later today.
Action Affirmations
"I am dedicated to the success of my daily life. I continue to take action to make my thoughts more positive, my emotions more joyous, and my intentions more conscious and clear."
This is where my daily to do list comes in. It never fails me. If I put it on the list, I get it done. I have over the years created a discipline for myself that way.
I also find that if I put the timer to 15min and say, "for 15min I will do this or that" it is enough time for me to get myself moving.
So what's on my list for today.
1. Delivering my new Christmas Cards to the museum gift store. (a forward activity towards my goal as an artist.)
2. Shopping for Christmas presents for a little girl and boy. (compassion for my heart)
3. Swimming, ( I have already rested, meditated for my body.)
One word about meditating, only do it once a day for 10 15min. after that it just becomes daydreaming.

Alla Prima Painting

Interview with Artist
Jean Hart

People often ask me if my paintings are oil?

No, I am an Acrylic artist.
Acrylic is a relatively new material.
I like it because it dries fast and I can get on with painting quickly.
Acrylic contains pigments that are suspended in acrylic polymer emulsion. One really cool thing about the acrylic  paint is that it can be diluted with water. I can thin it down to resemble watercolor paints, on the other hand I can build it up with gels, media, or pastes to resemble oil painting.
Once it dries it's water resistant and permanent.

Do you under paint your paintings?

When I first started to paint. It was a labor of love. I would gesso my canvas's, 3 times. Even if the pre-made canvas's said they were already gassoed. This I still do.
I work out my painting, until the composition looks balanced.
I have done the under painting and building up with glazes, but I have found that with acrylics you can just paint over each layer and cover up anything that needs to be fixed. So, I have given up the under painting style. My work tends to be quick, and Alla Prima.

Alla Prima?

Yes, it's also called "direct painting".
It became popular in the 19th century. The Impressionists were the first to use this style. It's spontaneous and has painterly qualities that I like. The brushstrokes are  bold, loose, and suggestive. Because the strokes are quickly painted  the accuracy of shapes and forms become less important. The painting takes on a more abstract, loosely painted suggestion.

Do you consider yourself to be a realistic painter?

That's interesting.
I once had an instructor who told me that I had to pick what kind of artist of was going to be, portrait, landscape, floral....etc. My question back was, Why can't I paint everything?
I guess that's not how it's done in the art world.
It's how I paint though. I paint what interests me.
My portraits are as real as I can make them.
But, my other paintings, are much freer in thought and accuracy. Lets, say I paint a tree and a bird, which  are  in many of my paintings. You, look at the painting and you say, I love the tree and bird. Well, I'm happy you saw a tree and bird.
Is it a real tree or a real bird?
Probably not. It only exists in my mind.
That's my artists license.
My first love is illustration. So I paint like an illustrator.
Many of my paintings first start with a Title.
Maybe a storyline.
Then the painting starts.
For me, what's important is that I paint.
My question to you is,
Which method suits you, careful planning in layers, or alla prima?

~jean

Hush....Listen to the winds, she doth blow...

Hush....Listen to the winds, she doth blow...
October's Heart by Jean Hart
Live your life from your heart.
Share from your heart,
And your story will touch and heal people's soul.
_Melody Beattie

There is a season for everything, so they say. Sometimes there is a season to be still, and quite. To be hushed. The Fall is a time to reap the harvest. Bring in the rewards for a job well done. If you keep talking you may miss the splendor of silence, or even a compliment.  You have said enough. You have made your points. Let someone else talk, or better  yet just be still and enjoy what is yours. There is a power to saying nothing.
So, HUSH, Hush, hush.

Technical Tueday Balance, unity, diversity.

Technical Tuesday
Balance, unity, diversity. These are words you will hear when your artwork is being critiqued and judged.
They are principles that should be applied to your composition when laying out your work on paper.
Is your artwork interesting, is it pleasing, does it tell a story?
Which artwork do you find most appealing here. C or D?
Which one captures your attention?
Why?
Some things to consider are, color, shape, sizes.
stimulating, pleasing, balance and complexity.
I will not say to you which one is right  or wrong. But if you study one over the other in the answering of these qualities the answer will come to you.
You must be the one, as the artist, to make these kinds of decisions. They have to be given consideration when you compose a piece of artwork.
Remember, that all artwork is critiqued this way, even abstract art.

~Jean

Following My Bliss

What surrounds you is what you will become.
I came across a quote that touched off me drawing this little picture.
"Ninety-nine percent of who you are is invisible. and untouchable."
R. Buck minster Juller (1898-1983)

If you are wondering the big questions of, Who you are and What is your purpose?. Well, I'm not sure there is just one answer for that.
My thinking is that I will have to keep exploring myself and my world around me.
I recently gave much of my artwork away to a thrift shop in town. This brought on a lot of speculation about if I have given up being an artist.
The answer is NO. Not at all. I had to let go of the old artwork, to make room for the new artwork I see myself doing.
I love this quote. It was given to me by a very wise and dear person to me.
Not only did she say things like, "If you really want something you will make it happen for yourself."
But her next quote was, "Quitters never win and winners never quit."
Those are hard words to go against.
At a young age there was plenty I did not know how to get for myself, so following others examples of what I wanted to do was a good decision.
Once I was older, Never quiting was harder as things became harder to do.
No, I am not giving up art or being an artist. I love it too much.
I am now giving myself time to develop and explore how to become more creative. Investigating how my artwork can inspire and help others. Exploring all my options, uncovering all the possibilities and investigating where the new adventure will take me.
I have emptied nearly 3 bookcases of books. I can hardly wait to see what I fill them up with in the coming years.
I have let go of research books, reference books, and how tos, just so I can free my mind to let in new ideas, new techniques, new ways of living.

~Jean

Blue Moon mail art project

BLUE MOON
MAIL ART PROJECT
ROMANIA

by Jean Hart

It's time to send out my paintings for the Blue Moon mail art project in Romania.
What is a blue moon exactly?
I looked it up and here is what it said:

A blue moon is an extra full moon that appears in a subdivision of a year, either the third of four full moons in a season or, recently, a second full moon in a month of the common calendar. Metaphorically, a "blue moon" is a rare event, as in the expression "once in a blue moon".

My little painting are only postcard size and perfect for sending through the mail.
Please enjoy my artwork.
Be Inspired,
~Jean

These are only a few of the many I'm sending.

Live to Inspire

Live to Inspire
Ideas and Concepts
acrylic by
Jean Hart
Inspire. ...

What moves you to the point that you must do something and then share it with someone?
Inspiring is doing something bold or courageous and then passing this high energy along to someone else.
How do you know if you are the one inspiring or being inspired?
I moved completely away from home at a tender age of 18. With no friends to a new city, college and barely no money.
Was that inspiring?
I married at 21 and again moved far from home to a city with no family or friends, with only $100.00 and no where to live.
Was that inspiring?
Being brave, vibrant, and as authentic as you can in living your life.
Yes, I think that's inspiring.
Telling how I left a job as a baker when I read a fortune cookie that said,
"Move in a different direction to begin your dream life".
Yes, that was inspired!
I hope that I don't just tell people about being inspired, I hope they are inspired by watching how I live my life. How sometimes taking a risk works out, being bold is exciting, taking chances makes your heart beat faster, by picking yourself up after a disappointment and moving forward after a good cry.
Keep moving forward...keep up the curiosity....keep the ideas and concepts coming.
I love this little abstract painting. It was my first attempt at painting concepts. Every time I look at it I see something new. It Inspires Me.
Show yourself to the world.
Breathe in, breathe out.
Be Inspired,
~Jean

Peace

Picasso! He says it best, but I will try.
Would it not be wonderful if we had peace always?
