Keep on Walking

Keep on walking
Rest and Recover, acrylic, 11" x 14" Jean Hart Artwork

Recovery isn't a goal, but a process that continues each day. You are always repairing and renewing and regenerating yourself.  After my 5k walk I was feeling so awful. My toes turned purple, because of ill fitting shoes.
Here is a website that will help you to pick the right shoe for you.
I will recover and I will walk again. In fact I just signed up for another walk in July.
Yep it's another 5K.
I went to the doctor to make sure my toes were not infected. She said to stay off them for a week, no swimming for 2 weeks, keep them dry and uncovered, and use neosporin. Good chance I will lose 2 of the toenails. :-(

While I was resting and recovering this week, I had a chance to watch a few movies.
Here is my list, enjoy.
1. Summer in Feb.

2. Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas

Sarah's Flower, watercolor, digital artwork, Jean Hart Artwork

Staying home gave my an opportunity to work in the studio. This is a digital painting of the flower painting Sarah and I did on Mother's Day.
Later next week I will make a few zazzle products with this image.

Making of an Artist..last interview in this series

Jean Hart Artwork
Interview with an Artist
Jean Hart

This is the last interview for this series.
"Making of an Artist"

Now that my paintings have been delivered to the  Museum for the
 Elements art exhibit.
Aug - Oct 2013
Northeastern Nevada Museum,
Elko, NV
I have been asked a few more questions. So, I will do my best to answer those questions here.

We have talked about what inspires me. Where I get my ideas from. What has attracted me to the style of painting I do.
What's next for Jean Hart Artwork?
Yes, that's the question I'm being asked.
Even before I have had the reception for this newest show!
Well, here it is.
There is a certain, let down, if you will, after the completions of a large body of work.
I've been working on the Element show for the last 8 months.
I thought I would take some time off. ....NO just kidding....

Exhibition are only part of what Jean Hart Artwork does.
I have just refreshed  my card racks with new note cards, key chains, magnets, to keep everything new and exiting.
Over the years I have learned about marketing and advertisement. I would like to expand
Jean Hart Artworks to be an ART Agency for new and emerging artist.

Jean Hart Artwork, has also taken on a new Photographer, Kerry Hart.
I will be marketing his photos of amazing landscapes of Nevada.

For me personally as an artist. I will continue to paint each day. Write my blog  http://jeanhartartists.blogspot.com/
on Art History, spot light new emerging artists,
critique artwork on ArtCanyon Art Galley, where I am an administrator.
This Fall I plan on making a new book with my artwork.
I will also be starting a new BOOK Club Blog called,
"Invisible Women" coming this fall.

I invite you to my on line store at zazzle, where I update with my newest artwork.

Stay tuned,
Be Inspired,
~Jean

A Shifting Propective

A Room With A View

Shift, yes, maybe it's time to shift your prospective.
Imagine all the possibilities in your day that you may not see if you didn't shift your eyes.
move your head,  balance on one foot, and turn around.
Perspective is a shifty thing. All the lines can be measured perfectly but something may feel off.
Check where are you standing. Do you need to move?
Art is funny that way too, just like life. Sometimes everything seems perfect, a good fit, lines are  straight, and just like that, everything is off balance.
Mindfulness, too is like that. Sometimes you feel like you have all you need, or too much or simply not enough. Yes, too much of a good thing will put you off balance to.
When my routine is disturbed, I get a little off balance.
Sometimes I have even had to do a do over in the morning, only it's later that day. Go back to what I missed in the morning that threw me off.
The crazy thing is that there are no two days the same. Not even if you do the same things each day.
You are not the same person you were yesterday that you are today.
It is truly up to you how you handle shifting.

~Jean

Friends are not by accident

Spring Creek Marina, acrylic, 16" x 24" Jean Hart
There are no accidents,
we don't meet people by accident. We meet them when we are out and about and open. People are meant to come into our lives for a reason.

Amazing Abstract artwork

Contempory artwork

This just proves how a viewer must bring their own experiences to a painting. How do you connect to this?????
Are you amazed, or bored?
Do you feel the energy?
Do you see the vision?
Abstract espressionist artwork brings the viewer into...
the artwork work. It makes you part of the artwork.
I love this......I'm wondering how can I paint something so emotional?

A Rose

A Rose,

that before it bloomed,
it had to push it's way through,
a whole lot of dirt and darkness.

Are you feeling inside the circle, or do you hang outside the circle?

Blue Monday
Blue Monday, circles, by artist
Jean Hart

Circles, awe, what can I say about circles?
Circles are everywhere, mostly circles are about cycles. No ending, no beginning......
But not when you paint them. There is a beginning, and hopefully the ending,  if your lucky will match up with the beginning again.
Are you feeling inside the circle, or do you hang outside the circle?
My circle, your circle, inside the circle of trust, circle of friends....it goes on, on, and on....
Beware of running around inside the circle's, because a circle once inside can trap you in and hold you there.
I have painted a lot of circles. When I went through a period of mandala paintings. All the mandala paintings are circles.
Circles will make you crazy, but Mondays will make you manic.

~Jean
