I want to start offering my original paintings to you here on live auction.
If you find a painting you like, just email me here and I will put your bid on the list. By private message email I will let you know if you have won.
These will be big or small and you will pay the S$H price.
Let the auction begin.

For the life of me I can not think of a title for this painting.

So here it is, if s...omeone can come up with a title I like, I will name this painting with your title, give you credit and send you a 11" x 14" print for helping me.
My Title was,

How do you know if you are the one inspiring or being inspired?

LIVE TO INSPIRE
i
IDEAS AND CONCEPTS, ACRYLIC
BY JEAN HART

Inspire.
What moves you to the point that you must do something and then share it with someone?
Inspiring is doing something bold or courageous and then passing this high energy along to someone else.
How do you know if you are the one inspiring or being inspired?
I moved completely away from home at a tender age of 18. With no friends to a new city, college and barely no money.
Was that inspiring?
I married at 21 and again moved far from home to a city with no family or friends, with only $100.00 and no where to live.
Was that inspiring?
Being brave, vibrant, and as authentic as you can in living your life.
Yes, I think that's inspiring.
Telling how I left a job as a baker when I read a fortune cookie that said,
"Move in a different direction to begin your dream life".
Yes, that was inspired!
I hope that I don't just tell people about being inspired, I hope they are inspired by watching how I live my life. How sometimes taking a risk works out, being bold is exciting, taking chances makes your heart beat faster, by picking yourself up after a disappointment and moving forward after a good cry.
Keep moving forward...keep up the curiosity....keep the ideas and concepts coming.
I love this little abstract painting. It was my first atempt at painting concepts. Everytime I look at it I see something new. It Inspires Me.
Show yourself to the world.
Breathe in, breathe out.

Have you ever dreamed so hard that when you awake you were exhausted?

Have you ever dreamed so hard that when you awake you were exhausted?
drawing from my health journal, Jean Hart

I have been "told", that God didn't create any illness without also creating the remedy.
As I look at this "healing" path that I'm on, I have to wonder.
Is every experience a blessing? Does my own healing exists within me?
I am certain that the Universe and spiritual traditions have many things in common and teach us everyday.
But still, I have my moments of doubt. Not to say that I have given up on prayer, meditations, gratitude and thankfulness.
It just feels like sometimes doors are closing and I'm crawling to find a window.
This week there has been a back slide on my knees. I found a new joint supplement at the health store called, Instaflex, I have started to take that too. Along with so many other supplements my pill box barley closes.
I am clearly feeling like the ugly duckling right now. My last visit to the salon left my hair a greenish brown!!! and my exercise is non existed so I'm feeling exhausted.
So, now begins the "pick yourself up and get on with life anyway", part of blogging.
I have two month to pull myself  together for Matt's wedding.
Along with a family reunion.....so many people my anxiety is already going up.
So, for now, lets begin:
1. no sugar, that I am aware of.
2. no extra carbs, NO lets make that NO MORE CHIPS!!!
3. PUSH THE KNEE EXERCISES I GOT FROM PT AT HOME.
4. water, water, water.......
5 add some positive thoughts to life, just to remember that everyday is magic.
OK lets just start with that.
"the secret of life
is not to resist,
But to ride the tide
In search of your bliss"    Michael Dooley

and I say, this too will pass........lets hope I find my legs soon and get out of this funk!!!

Amazing Abstract artwork

Contempory artwork

This just proves how a viewer must bring their own experiences to a painting. How do you connect to this?????
Are you amazed, or bored?
Do you feel the energy?
Do you see the vision?
Abstract espressionist artwork brings the viewer into...
the artwork work. It makes you part of the artwork.
I love this......I'm wondering how can I paint something so emotional?

Are you feeling inside the circle, or do you hang outside the circle?

Blue Monday
Blue Monday, circles, by artist
Jean Hart

Circles, awe, what can I say about circles?
Circles are everywhere, mostly circles are about cycles. No ending, no beginning......
But not when you paint them. There is a beginning, and hopefully the ending,  if your lucky will match up with the beginning again.
Are you feeling inside the circle, or do you hang outside the circle?
My circle, your circle, inside the circle of trust, circle of friends....it goes on, on, and on....
Beware of running around inside the circle's, because a circle once inside can trap you in and hold you there.
I have painted a lot of circles. When I went through a period of mandala paintings. All the mandala paintings are circles.
Circles will make you crazy, but Mondays will make you manic.

Soul Coaching, Earth week, day 27

Soul Coaching
day 26
Earth Week
See I told you I was alittle pale looking this week.
It's only 9:30 and I'm flying around already!!! I 'm cleaning up the house, making lists, shopping for my party tomorrow night......Mary Kay party.....
Earth Week has shaken me up a bit. I'm feeling better and that's good. Still on ice and my massage was canceled, :-(( so I'm working out the kinks myself.
Today is one of my favorite days. Creating a home for the Soul.
My assignment for myself today is looking up URN's. Yes, that's right. It will be the home of my ashes, not my soul. But I want to pick it out and save it for when I need it later......:-)).
Level 2 assignment is to create a place in your home for your soul. That means find a place in your home that is just for you.
Day 27
I was so busy yesterday that I had to stop blogging.  And so now I'm onto day 27.
This week has been amazing. Totally amazing!!!
I'm feeling better, and what still hurts I can deal with.
Unbelievable opportunities have opened up for me this week. I almost missed them because I didn't want to be bothered. There's a lesson in that I'm sure.
Today on this 27th day I'm feeling optimistic about everything.
Today is about creating a Fabulous future.
I wrote down 10 things down that I want in my future. Some I have been working on for awhile but the timing is now.
A great question my son Matthew came up with and asked me is.
"What will you do today to make you happy in the future?"
It goes so perfectly with today. That is why I'm feeling so good. I feel like YES, I am on the right  path. Finally, things are being brought together and my ideas are starting to find a home.
Today's affirmation;
"My future is filled with love, joy, and peace!"
I have a new calmness to me. Here's the thing, I have ideas, maybe 1000 a day. I have a notebook I write them all in. Not all are great or even doable. But, I write them in anyway. The second part is making a plan to execute them. And that is what today is all about.
So today, "Act today in accordance with whom you desire to be tomorrow. Tomorrow's future is being created today, and today is yesterday's future...."
I so love this book, Soul Coaching, 28 days to discover your authentic self, by Denise Linn.
I'm thinking of creating a little workshop to engage other women to join in to create their own authentic self.
I plan on calling this group, a safe place to share, encourage, inspire women to be the best selves they can be.
"The Invisible Women Club"
What would you do if you were not invisible?
Personable, I have felt invisible for many years. Even though I am active, available, and involved. There are many things I have not done simply because I did not have the courage to do so. It is time to act like a Visible Women.

I invite you to join in with me.

SOUL COACHING Day 25

SOUL COACHING
DAY 25
Soul Coaching book by Denise Linn

Earth week has been tough for me, not because it's hard, but because I have not been feeling so great this week.
Finding the wisdom to stick with this program this week has been hit and miss.
My philosophy that I started to take up was start saying Yes to things that come my way.
I'm finding that difficult. I missed a few opportunities this week, to make a new friend, coach someone alone, and start up a business.
When I'm not feeling well I do not think clearly. I do not think at all. Going back to correct these things seems, risky. If my first thought was to say no, was it my intuition or me just not wanting to deal with it?
Today's affirmation:
"I am in harmony with the natural rhythm of life."
Yes, I will have to repeat this one many times today.
Today's activities:
Be aware of the rhythms of nature in all its forms around you, from the rising and setting sun. ....
It's windy today, so I'm hoping that the winds will blow this very low mood I'm in far far away....
I love this book,
only 3 more days to go.....again no picture of me today, still looking pale....
Be Inspired,
~Jean

EARTH Soul Coaching

EARTH
SOUL COACHING
I'm doing this little book by
Denise Linn

good morning,,,,this is me, even before my first cup of coffee.

Be Courageous...
Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage.
~ Anaïs Nin ~
This is my last week on this program. I'm just a bit sad to see it come to an end. But as I read the introduction I see I have no time for that..
Earth week, Clearing your physical self.
This comes just in time for me to paint my next painting for the Element Show, "Earth".

There will be no time to rest during this week it looks like. While I am still cleaning, with all the home machines running. I just finished cleaning, decluttering under my bathroom sink. YUCK!!!! why do I keep everything that comes to me...half used bottles of shampoo, old bars of soap, I must have found 5 hairbrushes, a curling iron, I've never used, some other mysteries tubes of  creams!!!
Which brings to mind the question, "Do you ever look in someones medicine cabinet when you use their bathroom?"   Well, it's all cleaned up and out now.
For the next seven days, focus on the physical nature of your environment.
During Earth week,
Become more connected to your body. (I looking for a STRETCH CLASS, not yoga though."
Attend to your health, (I made many Dr. Appointments)
Detoxify your body.( learning to drink lemon water)
Understand how to use your body's physiology. ( exercising)
Connect more fully with nature.(watered my plants)
Create a home for your soul.( OK, strange as this sounds, I want to make my own urn.)
Take action for a positive future.
Today is day 22, Earth, Connecting with your body.
Affirmation for the day
"I am one with the earth. I am one with my body."
There is a long list to help with making an accurate body assessment,
After I went through this list I discovered that YES, it was time to get physical and take action to take care of my body. So, Dr. appointments were made.
Eye, Dentist, Gynecologist, Monogram, Dermatologist.
Here's something  fun,  I called my Mary Kay associate and planned a party for next week.
We will have fun food, wine and girl time.
Facials, and make up expert advice.
I'm also making a promise to myself to regularly take my blood presser to keep on top of that too.
That's filled up my calendar for this week,
Have fun with this.
Soul Coaching has been a great help for me.
I welcome you to join in with me.
Be Inspired,
~Jean

Earth, a vision

During the night, a spark came to me,,,,I could not sleep. It's always like that when I take up a new project. I got up and went to the studio and decieded that YES, this new art was worth exploring. So today I will continue on this path. I'm hoping to make a little book from these original fine art pieces......Be Inspired, ~Jean

EARTH,
11 X 14
COLORED PENCIL
JEAN ARTWORK
Meandering....the shortest distance between two points may not always be the straightest line...If you can sometimes its fun to travel on the bumpy, curvey and circle road.....I've changed the color of my first painting with the magic of editing and came up with more sutle tones. earthy tones. Somehow I think it's more interesting then the first orginal painting. But it no longer looks like a rose to me, but earth.
Be Inpsried,

Blue Monday-finding sublimity in our surroundings

Blue Monday

Rise and shine!
It's Monday.
Raise yourself out of the past and into a new day.
Look who has come to join me for breakfast.
It's hard to feel too blue when I look out my window and see this.
How can you not look at nature and not be inspired?
Walt Whitman said,"A morning glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books."
What would the landscape look like without nature. Surely what would artists paint, photographers shoot or poets write about.
Here's a thought for today.
Without nature what would the major master pieces of artwork be?
Nature is everywhere, landscapes, seascapes, animals.
Now think, what is the rest of the artists painting if not nature?
My guess is the relationship people have to nature, abstract, man-made structures and feelings.
Nature has colors and shapes we can all relate to easily. Without too much thought we recognize trees, mountain, oceans.
A question for today,
Why do humans feel so moved and inspired by nature?
Today's challenge is for you to draw something in nature to moves you in an inspired way.
Be Inspired,
~Jean

Has a work of art ever revealed to you a profound truth about our world?

Has a work of art ever revealed to you a profound truth about our world?
I painted this fine art piece for an exhibit I did on "Human Life".
The tile is "Plant Food Not Fuel".
Today's question is
Can the creation of art add meaning to a person's life?
Jean Paul Sartre,
"If literature isn't everything, it's not worth a single hour of someones trouble." -Sartre
Jean Paul Sartre was a famous 20th century philosopher, a French Existentialist.
In his philosophy he was aware of the power of images on people's beliefs. Sartre sees art as an intellectual pursuit and believes, "that every artist must commit to bettering society and taking responsibility for his or her work".
I agree with this statement. I have always believe artists can paint and record history. I too believe there is so much power in images. I do not like to have to explaine my artwork because by doing so it really takes away their own experience of the art. Each person is drawn to art and images by their own emotions.
Once you have painted a picture, it lives on in the minds of those who have viewed it long after the artist has moved on.
Creating beauty, with meaning.
Here is my exhibit of my paintings I painting for "Human Life" exhibit.
Please enjoy my artwork.

click on link below to read more about Jean Paul Sartre,

Our challenge for today is for you to paint something that is important to you about Life, Earth, the World.
I love My World and so I painted a painting to show my gratitude from this wonderful place we call earth.
