Live auction, Let It Snow

New season painting.
live au
I am starting something new. Many of you have heard about the paint a day movement. Well, this is not that. There is no way I can paint a painting each day....so I would not want to set you up to come here looking for a new painting from me everyday. However, I do paint a lot. I want to start offering my original paintings to you here on live auction.
If you find a painting you like, just email me here and I will put your bid on the list. By private message email I will let you know if you have won.
These will be big or small and you will pay the S$H price.
Let the auction begin.
I'm excited, how about you?
Be inspired,
~jean

A Fall Song, Golden and Red

Ruby Dome, Nevada, Jean Hart
Fall, autumn, harvest, cool air, shorter days, pumpkin in the air.
A Fall Song
by Ellen Robena Field
Golden and red trees
Nod to the soft breeze,
As it whispers, "Winter is near,"
And the brown nuts fall
At the wind's loud call,
For this is the Fall of the year.

For me this is the best season. I offend wondered why the new year does not begin now. It has always felt like a new begin in Sept. That is when school begins. It is when I got married. There is so much to do before winter comes.
Soft breezes filled with the dropping of leaves.
It's time to put away the carpi's and bring out the sweaters.
Be Inspired,
~Jean

Blue Monday-finding sublimity in our surroundings

Blue Monday

Rise and shine!
It's Monday.
Raise yourself out of the past and into a new day.
Look who has come to join me for breakfast.
It's hard to feel too blue when I look out my window and see this.
How can you not look at nature and not be inspired?
Walt Whitman said,"A morning glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books."
What would the landscape look like without nature. Surely what would artists paint, photographers shoot or poets write about.
Here's a thought for today.
Without nature what would the major master pieces of artwork be?
Nature is everywhere, landscapes, seascapes, animals.
Now think, what is the rest of the artists painting if not nature?
My guess is the relationship people have to nature, abstract, man-made structures and feelings.
Nature has colors and shapes we can all relate to easily. Without too much thought we recognize trees, mountain, oceans.
A question for today,
Why do humans feel so moved and inspired by nature?
Today's challenge is for you to draw something in nature to moves you in an inspired way.
Be Inspired,
~Jean
