Let's get grounded

Welcome to my online store

It's June!!
And it's not raining, or at least not as much as it was.
I have been busy doing many many 30 day challenges.
I will start posting them as I complete them.
I'm finding that while they do take time they have become so much of my daily routine that if I miss one I'm completely lost for the day.

I'm not much of a gardener and with that said I found this June I was so flighty that I started looking for ways to ground myself.
We live in an area where water is very limited and expensive. So much so that to plant a big garden and pay for the water is not economic for us.
While shopping one day I came across these bottles of plants and was so excited to think yes, I can garden if only by two little bottles in my windowsill.

This morning I sat down and planted both of these vegetables and added them to my windowsill.
They need full light for 8 hours and only watered once a week.

There they are, one cherry tomato, and one red chili plant.
If you look behind them you will see my Christmas tree.
I bought that tree 2 years ago when we we remodeling our kitchen, dining room and living room.  With no room for a large Christmas tree that year I bought a tiny little tree with tiny little ornaments.  It's grown so big it's time to replant it into a larger pot.

Let"s talk a bit about grounding.

For a while now I have been feeling unattached to many things, places, even people.
After going through a rough time with my diverticulitis I was in need of a better plan.
This is when I started to work on 30 Day Challenges.
I started by simply writing in my journal each morning asking myself,
"What do I want help with?
What do I think I need help with?
Where do I want to go for help?
Who do I want to ask for help from?"
I surprised myself by coming up with a very long list that covered almost 4 pages!!
I knew of course I could not do everything on my list at once or everything all in one day.
No one has time for that!
 I started with two things.
The first, I learned to breath deeply and correctly.
The second, I started clearing my first chakra,
The Root Chakra, Without balancing this first chakra you can not get the other chakra's balanced.
I went to YouTube and found a series of chakra balancing videos that I was comfortable with.  ( I will not be sharing the ones I used only because I'm not here to promote anyone and I feel this is a very personal choice for you to make yourself. YouTube has many many videos to choose from. )
For 30 Days I listened, meditated and learned to breath.
Sounds so easy, and it was so comforting to feel like I was doing something good for myself.
I enjoyed the thought of doing something for 30 days and I believed I could add a few more to my day. So I did.  I have to warn you though, it's easy to think you can keep adding to the daily list but there does come a day when you can not get to any of them, and that day came and created a bit of anxiety for me. I now know that taking on 3 30 day challenges is plenty.
