I've been trying to get a hernia surgery for 1 year now. Living in a rural area makes surgeries hard to get.
Last week I went to University of Utah and saw a general surgeon. We have started all the tests and set an appointment for surgery, 6 weeks and 5 days from now. My goal is to lose a bit of weight, keep moving and make sure all tests are done and available for my doctor to review.
Today I walked 17 mins on the treadmill and to tell you the truth, that was HARD. My stomach is hurting and I will be laying down with a heating pad shortly.
I'm registered with the app "Lose It" that will track my calories and record my weight loss progress.
1. I filled out more paperwork today and made hotel reservations for the surgery date.
2. Walked 17 minutes according to my walking program for week 2. I'm right on point!
3. Today so far eating according to my calories.
I'm calling today a success.
