Jean Hart Artwork
Working with the
Artists Muse collections of cards.

Creating your masterpiece!
Today I pulled three cards from the deck.
If you have ever thought I just don't know what to paint.
This cards are a great way to jump start your creativity.
You can do one card or two or mix all three together. It's all up to you.

Circles of Growth: Use one fully saturated color, one dull color (neutralized with black or the color's complement) and one pale color.
Windows of opportunity: Place an assortment of found objects on the surface of your paper. Use rice, metal rings, keys, spaghetti, any interesting shapes. Spray around these objects gesso watered down to the consistency of skim milk. Let dry. Use this as the surface for your painting.
Doors of Awareness: Do a totally nonobjective painting use only geometric shapes. If you wish, add numbers.
This is going to be very interesting when it is completed.

Please, feeling free to share your finished artwork, comment, and share with other's.

Sunday's Tablescapes

Sunday tablescapes

Happy Sunday
Joie de Vivre
Welcome to my Sunday Dinner Table.
This is my FrenchKissLife practise this week.
Everyday should be celebrated. Sometimes we just get too busy and forget that this is our life.
We should treat ourselves like we treat guess.

*40. Look for ways to save a few extra bucks a month. Donate it.
*41. Remember to splurge a little on yourself once in a while. You’ll feel better.
*42. Shop at your local charity thrift store. The money you spend there helps others.
43. Send a gift or a thank you card to the troops in Iraq. Support them even if you don’t support the war.
44. Spend a few clicks of your time at Free Rice
*45. Leave an encouraging or positive comment on a stranger’s webpage.
46. If someone is tailgating you, let them pass and wish them well, without the anger.
47. If there’s been an accident or a potentially hazardous situation presents itself on the road (i.e. you see a cow on the wrong side of the fence) dial 911 and tell them about it. Your phone call could save a life.
*48. If someone you love really likes something (a meal, a favor, etc.) give it to them when they least expect it.
*49. Learn a new skill, then teach it to someone else.

What Does Style mean to YOU?

It's never too late to show someone you care.
Here are a few of my favorite things

Valentine's Day is only 10 days away.

If your looking for style. I think you have to look beyond clothes.
Of course style is clothes too, but what if style meant more.
Something more like the way you
set a table, make a meal, decorate your home, or show the people in your life you care.
I'm thinking real style has nothing to do with money and
everything to do with the life you create.
Here is where creating a vision board comes in.
Vision boards are for creating a well lived, stylish, and creative life.
The life you want.
Once you have picked things that you are interested in, say,
education, home, vacation, cars, travel, people.
YOUR STYLE.
Than you can make a map and set goals.
Not everyone starts off walking on a runway wear Chanel.
You have to build up to it. Step by step.
For me, there are now fashion limits.
I can not wear high heels, or use mascara. I have learned to adjust.
Are fashion and style the same?
I say no.
I believe everyone has style. You just have to find yours.
And when you do,
"The evening will be full of surprises."
says my Love Fortune Cookie.

Recently I have changed my art style to do more pen and ink drawings.
They are so convenient for me to carry around in my purse. That when I find a minute to sit with coffee, I can easily bring a notepad out and draw.
I joined in on a Mail Art Project in Austria.
The theme is:
Turquoise.
Here is my first drawing.
