Day 2 to a more magnetic life

Day 2
to a more magnetic life
by Sandra Anne Taylor

Wild Hearts, acrylic, by Jean Hart
Releasing Negativity
I have always believed that what you think is what will happen.
Many times I have thought I just can't do something. Long before I knew what negative thoughts were or that a positive attitude could change your life.
Intentions
for this day are to notice your thoughts, feel them. Ask yourself are they true? Are they helping you? Do you believe them? Okay, those are my questions. I have read many books about thoughts, depression, negativity thinking, and well this too is helpful.
Reflection
Sandra writes, "Instead, simply notice when your mind is moving in an anxious direction, then gently release any assumptions of fear or doubt. Whatever may be going on, open your heart and mind to more relaxing conclusions, and know that a better outcome is on the way."
Taking action
"Breath deeply and as you exhale, affirm that you're letting go. say, I don't have to choose this reaction any longer."
My actions
Daydreamer, pastel, Jean Hart

Again, I say, take time to daydream.....for me, sometimes I get overwhelmed with work, my body aches, and family stuff. Sometimes I just have to nap. Yes, I said NAP. It seems that if I pose a problem just before I nap, and I'm talking about 20-30mins. I feel better about it when I wake up.

 Affirmations for shifting negativity
"My thoughts have real power in my life, and I always choose to have power over my thoughts."
So, like I said I can't just type out all of what she writes. Some of this is stuff I know already so I looked up something I found help full for me.
TED Talks. I love them, I listen to many and I share the ones that have helped me.
Ask yourself, Can our bodies change our minds? Can you fake it until you make it? or should you fake it till you become it?
click on to the link and find out.

What's on my list for today?
1. I will be writing out my affirmation 50 times. First, I like to hand write stuff because I'm working on better penmanship, and it helps to use my hands.
2. I will pose a anxiety I'm feeling and create a better daydream so the out come is more positive.
This will only take 15 mins.
3. I will walk into my studio standing in a V position, arms up, chin up and say lets get to work!!!

Technical Tuesday Giraffe

Technical Tuesday
I have been asked by a lot of people if I give art lessons.
My answers is, no. I do not give lessons for many reasons. If you have been folllowing me for awhile, then you know my story. If you are new, then I will tell you quickly. I love art, there is now doubt about that. I came to art late in life and have only taken a few classes myself. I read art books, watch videos, go to workshops. My style and technique is wild and unperdictiable. When I find a new book I do all the exercises in it. I am what the art criqutics call "A Outersider" artist. With no real schooling in art or a degree to teach art, I do not feel I am able to give you the best tools to learn correctly.
What I can offer you though is encouragement, enthusiasium for art and an understanding of triumph and failure. These are exercises that I have done. With every exercise you do you will get use to the names of colors, and instructions and techniques.
I once went to the Northeastern Nevada Museum and painting their giraffe they have there.
It's real and it's tall.
I am thinking of going to the museum again and painting another animal this fall.
I hope these Technical Tuesdays are helpful for you.
Be Inspired,
~Jean

Today we are going to draw a giraffe.
this instruction come from
Eileen Sorg,
1. apply a base layer of dark yellow with yellow ochre fro darker areas. Suggest shadows on and around the with light blue violet. Note the shadow cast by the chin on to the neck. Now use reddish brown for the stem and olive green for the leaves.

2. Apply light umber to further deepen the periwinkle shadows, fill in the spots, and add ridges around the eyes. Brighten the giraffe with mineral orange, filling in more spots and adding more hair along the neck.

3. To finish, fill in the eyes and those bong lashes with black. Use black to darken the nostrils, dark tufts of hair, and other shadows.

Soul Coaching, Earth week, day 27

Soul Coaching
day 26
Earth Week
See I told you I was alittle pale looking this week.
It's only 9:30 and I'm flying around already!!! I 'm cleaning up the house, making lists, shopping for my party tomorrow night......Mary Kay party.....
Earth Week has shaken me up a bit. I'm feeling better and that's good. Still on ice and my massage was canceled, :-(( so I'm working out the kinks myself.
Today is one of my favorite days. Creating a home for the Soul.
My assignment for myself today is looking up URN's. Yes, that's right. It will be the home of my ashes, not my soul. But I want to pick it out and save it for when I need it later......:-)).
Level 2 assignment is to create a place in your home for your soul. That means find a place in your home that is just for you.
Day 27
I was so busy yesterday that I had to stop blogging.  And so now I'm onto day 27.
This week has been amazing. Totally amazing!!!
I'm feeling better, and what still hurts I can deal with.
Unbelievable opportunities have opened up for me this week. I almost missed them because I didn't want to be bothered. There's a lesson in that I'm sure.
Today on this 27th day I'm feeling optimistic about everything.
Today is about creating a Fabulous future.
I wrote down 10 things down that I want in my future. Some I have been working on for awhile but the timing is now.
A great question my son Matthew came up with and asked me is.
"What will you do today to make you happy in the future?"
It goes so perfectly with today. That is why I'm feeling so good. I feel like YES, I am on the right  path. Finally, things are being brought together and my ideas are starting to find a home.
Today's affirmation;
"My future is filled with love, joy, and peace!"
I have a new calmness to me. Here's the thing, I have ideas, maybe 1000 a day. I have a notebook I write them all in. Not all are great or even doable. But, I write them in anyway. The second part is making a plan to execute them. And that is what today is all about.
So today, "Act today in accordance with whom you desire to be tomorrow. Tomorrow's future is being created today, and today is yesterday's future...."
I so love this book, Soul Coaching, 28 days to discover your authentic self, by Denise Linn.
I'm thinking of creating a little workshop to engage other women to join in to create their own authentic self.
I plan on calling this group, a safe place to share, encourage, inspire women to be the best selves they can be.
"The Invisible Women Club"
What would you do if you were not invisible?
Personable, I have felt invisible for many years. Even though I am active, available, and involved. There are many things I have not done simply because I did not have the courage to do so. It is time to act like a Visible Women.

I invite you to join in with me.
Be Inspired,
~Jean

Fire, Soul Coaching

FIRE
book and program
Soul Coaching, by Denise Linn
Day 16 Fire, shadow self, through the mirror

Fire, Clearing Your Spiritual Self. Yes, I'm going to enjoy this week. Or so I'm hoping....
It's April, not fire season where I live, so for me to focus on fire around me, it will have to be the fire I create. I'm thinking candle, lots and lots of candles.
Sunlight is a form of fire too. So I have opened all the curtains. Letting the light shine in.
This week is focusing on the light and shadows in your surroundings.
During Fire week;
Step into trust and faith.
Meditate on your inner light.
Listen to any inner voices urging you to branch out in a new direction.
Change your routines and habits.
Take risks.
Activate creativity.
Access your spiritual allies.
Face your shadow self.
Examine your fears
HAVE FUN!!
I've made it to day 16. Happy to get out of water and into fire. But, in some way sad that I have not been able to complete all the assignments from the last weeks. I'm still masterfully decluttering my space, and cleaning and shining things. I still have to make an appointment to get my air ducts clean from Air Week, and my bathroom sink is still clogged from water week!!! But I'm moving on to FIRE
Today is about taking risks. "If you do what you have always done, you will get what you have always gotten." So, change is in the air all around me.
Affirmation for the day;
"I am free to experience joy in every moment...no matter what is happening in my life."
Today;
constantly ask yourself, "How can I experience even more joy and fun today?" and see what your subconscious comes up with!
FUN, FUN, FUN, yes, I like that.
I went out and bought three scarfs to wear and play with. As you can see in my picture. I'm learning how to tie them in different knots and hanging them with flair.
(looking playful, take practice)
I love to laugh so I looked up fun kitten movies.
This ones cool.

Level 3 today is to Break a Habit
ok, I will break several habits that I'm aware of. I made a list for three things I do each day that I should, Or have known I should be changing.
One day at a time with these , I think they are habits because I enjoy them, but my rational mind knows that they are bad for me.
Three seems like a good number to me. Morning, noon, and night.
Fire, Heartburn, acrly, 36 ' x32
I didn't want to jump into fire to quickly, but so far, I like fire the best.
Have fun today
Be Inspired,
~Jean
