Paris smarts game
Question- Culture
True or False
It is the custom in Paris to plant a "double kiss" when meeting someone new.
False
Although the double kiss a peck on alternate cheeks, is common in Paris, there is no single norm. The "triple kiss" and the "four kiss" are popular, too. The standard greeting between strangers and in business settings is ofter a handshake.
Well, I got that wrong. But then again it's nice to know I don't have to go around kissing everyone I meet. It's good to know these customs before traveling.

Start with a handshake,
"If a stranger of the opposite sex smiles at you, it's best to do as the French do and return only a blank look before turning away. If you smile back, you might find yourself in a Pepé Le Pew–type situation."
