2014 What a YEAR

2014 Transformation

Winter, the last season for 2014. A Complete year of transformation.
Happy, Healthy, Strong and Alive.

It's been a great year.
I've met some goals and didn't finish others.
But, just as life continues,
new goals are being made for 2015.
One of the many tools I have used this year has been my healing cards. It is always nice to know that no matter what card I pull they seem to be the card I need.

Healing card for today:
by Caroline Myss
"A cheerful expression brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones."
That sounds great not only for today but for each day.
Believe me my bones could use some good news. This cold weather has settled right in.
It's 13 degrees today....cold, cold, freezing.
I have both the pallet stove going and the furnace on. It's gonna be a long winter.
I have taken this Christmas break off from just about everything and now I'm ready to get back to exercising and eating right.
My new schedule has been a little tough to get my yoga in.
I have moved my dinning room table as far into the wall as possible, taken out the extra leafs and now I have plenty of room to do yoga in my dinning room with YouTube on my computer.
It works well.
Isn't it funny how you live a certain way and then bam!...a new idea just shows up.

Here's a task for today:
Be the bearer of only good news today. In living out this task, note whether you find it difficult to maintain. And if so, discover why within yourself.
In January 2014, I begin a transformation. I could hardly move my body. I started yoga, walking and swimming. I started eating healthier and made regular hours for my studio.
By spring,  I had oped Master Piece Art Gallery with my daughter, I had signed up for a yoga retreat, Wonderlust . I did my first mile walk,(which I barely finished), started to lose some wight. Oh and cut all my hair off to a short little hair cut.
Summertime, I was well into walking 5K's every weekend and my time was improving, I had lost 15lbs and my back and knees where getting stronger. Sarah and I started a triathlon, swimming, walking, yoga. No bike it's not good for my lower back.
The Fall was amazing, I won a medal for walking a 5K, I had lost 20lbs, and now was volunteering everyday for a cause greater then myself.
The end of 2014. Looking back through my photo album I am amazed at the adventures I had this year. The places I went, the people I meet, and the love I have for life. While not all of my goals were meet, most of them were accomplished. Is the transformation over? NO, I have a lot more work to do with getting my back and knees where they need to be. My weight is still 80 lbs where my goals is, and my artwork is going in a totally different direction then every before.
2015 will be just as busy with 5K's but this year there will also be hiking trails. Always looking for  habits for better living and health. There will be some new fashion designs coming this year.
Just getting back into life in this last year has been tremendous....So while my little butterfly is still in her cocoon, I think she is getting stronger and maybe this is the year she will break open the cocoon.
Thank you all for coming along on this journey with me. I have truly enjoyed all the emails, and p/m of encouragement. We have had some interesting conversations.
Be Inspired,
~jean
