Often under the light of the moon, our hearts open up and ask, "what is next?".
I was given a set of healing cards that I bring out every now and then. I love the artwork and words of wisdom. For years they have inspired me and brought me peace of mind. The words are by Caroline Myss and Peter Occhiogrosso.
I would like to share them with you.
Earth Week,
" The world lives and breathes, and we can draw its spirit into us.
At the end of the last century, the Gaia Hypothesis popularized the belief that the earth is an organic whole possessing a kink of sacred consciousness. Yet the idea has been around much longer than that, from the stories of native peoples to the work of the 15th-century Florentine philosopher, physician, and priest Marcilio Ficino. His statement here suggests a world filled with sensuous and spiritual pleasures without any need to distinguish between the two. All we need to do is to become aware of our connection to this richer world, pay attention to the different manifestations of its spirit, and enjoy them. That in itself is a healing practices."
